The Golden Ticket invite arrived this afternoon. Being a day 2 reservation holder I didn’t expect the invite so fast.

I really want a 2025 model with possibly improved dry cathode battery cells so I am delaying my order.
I'm a minute one reservation holder, and I'm still being left behind ?

I got the invite at 4:30pm CST and have tried to order multiple times with multiple cards. It keep saying payment method declined but its not even going through my bank or my card. I texted Tesla they said their sites been down but I'm not buying it. Any ideas on what to try or just go to sleep and try again in the morning? Kind of annoying.
I had the same issue. For some reason on the Tesla app on my Android phone it would not let me complete the purchase. I switched to my laptop and went to Tesla.com to order and everything worked fine.
I actually placed the order an hour before I got the official email from Tesla thanks to the good folks here who alerted me to the possibility of ordering.

Day 2 reservation 1128xxx

Been waiting for a non-foundation series CyberBeast. Today was the day.

Nah they won't. If anything a FS badge means it's an early build with more issues.
Sorry you are wrong. I am working in MFG world. Early build has more Engineer focus and more resrouces adapted, even Elon will participate on reivews in early build. After that, lines will be hand over to factory completely and keep ramping, and some process/test goes sampling due to cost saving, then more issues will show up. After a year or two, when all the issues shows up in field and got fixed, the line go back to stable and quality got garanteed. This is also why Elon says "Friends ask me, when should they buy a Tesla. Well, either buy it right at the beginning, or when production reaches a steady state"

An annoying bummer. Tried on my app, on my phone website, on my desktop, on my Mac. Tried using Apple Pay, tried using my debt and credit card. No dice.

I was having the same issue on mobile. I tried on my laptop and payment went through on my first attempt. Try that!

So I’ve got a question I haven’t seen answered in the past 22 pages…if you have your invite to purchase the non-FS and want to use the commercial credit, you‘d have to do it without FSD. can I purchase FSD at a later date at the flat rate of $8000?
I’d only assume it wouldn’t be 7k because it was not included in the initial reservation order.
sadly yes, make CT accessories but don’t own one…yet.

Ok you can believe that and it's ok to disagree. The CT is an electric machine and it has early design flaws, components to be replaced, recalls that in time should get thru the initial ones (mine are pending), and Teslas are said to get better incrementally as models age. The 3 is way better now, the Y saw incremental improvements, etc. The FA is nothing special, it isn't a low volume handcrafted car. It is a mass production car with a lot of experimental learnings.

It wasn't answered because I can't make heads nor tails of your question.

The Commercial Credit is 'a business buys a vehicle that weighs more than 6000 lbs'. I know of no reason you couldn't tack FSD onto it, unless your business has some policy against it.

I do not know if you can buy it later... We've heard conflicting reports of Tesla giving leeway to add options after delivery.

And there's no way to tell how up to date any documentation from Tesla is.

Just got an email to order my non-foundation CT. I had three early reservations and purchased a FS.

Estimated delivery OCT-NOV 2024

Your primary objective should be to work hard enough that you don't qualify for the Tax Credit Anyways!
Remember many of us come in 20 pages later in the stuff.

Kind of an asshat thing to say. I love all, and gosh darn I would say there is a better way to look at it my friend. Really think about it, I think one might find in a place like mine one would have few likers with that line of thinking. Many work plenty hard. Harder than I do for sure. Put asses on the line every day. Just saying.

Your guidance seems off. Here is the link to accurate information.

I find my question valid because, if you dig deeper into the commercial credit, it also taps out at 80k for SUV’s, vans and trucks under 14k pounds.
The 6k lbs of more is not the commercial clean vehicle, that is the general EV credit.
Therefore my understand is, purchasing with FSD goes over $80k. Which my question becomes relevant.

Got mine 11:30 PM EST. It really is out of budget for me at this point, but I was debating it. Only to just now realize it isn't eligible for the $7,500 credit. Argh!!
I'm no expert, But, read on that fact that Electronic things like FSD don't count towards the price, So you should be able to get the 7,500 off. I ordered the standard truck 79,995. (91,000) All the extra charges don't count against the Fed Credit... Look for more info
