If you built this, without the unnecessary front camera, and recording, and the extra cost to add this, I would have bought it instead of my solution with very similar mirror with two inputs (rear camera, and vault camera).
Or add CarPlay to it and that would be a reasonable price.

Personally I’d prefer a video rear view mirror that was just a rear view mirror. The front facing camera is a waste for me. I’d rather have a higher quality rear view mirror with no forward facing camera or recording.

Appreciate the reply, and i think you missed the point of my comment entirely. I don’t want to pay for a front facing camera i will never use. I want to pay for a better quality rear facing camera which should still be at a lower price point than this offering which i see as overpriced. There is no need to waste money on parts I don’t need or include the manufacturing costs to the environment of a tech hardware part I will never use. Would rather have a simpler rear video camera rearview mirror replacement option that is easy to install and that’s all it does, with high quality resolution, excellent night time performance, a bright OLED screen for excellent contrast with adjustable brightness for day vs night use, and a hydrophobic coating on the exterior camera lens to keep it from losing capabilty when driving through rain, and even better yet a spray washer to clean it when it gets dirty while driving. That’s a product that if it had all those features i would pay more for than this offering, actually, especially if it had true 4k resolution and a large high quality OLED screen as the mirror replacement. This product here is just not at all what i would want to replace the rear view mirror regardless of the discount. I am sure others will enjoy it, but i’ll pass until someone makes what I am looking for.

Maybe it’s just me but the posts for this thing seem a bit aggressive and very inorganic.

I don’t have anything against Hansshow products generally and own a few, but we get it you’ve got a mirror, you’d like us to buy it.

As many of us have already said - it doesn’t have the features that we want and it’s too cumbersome to install. At this juncture, I just buy a bigger wide angle simple mirror over this.

Even from the very first post about this, which was clearly from someone who’s getting paid by you guys, it just seems forced.
