Anyone else using the CT in SAR (Search and Rescue)? I am in SDSDSAR K9 unit and have switched out my 20yo SUV for the CT (beast). Looking to exchange info how to make the CT as practical as possible for SAR;

During training and missions we are parked together with all windows down, tailgates open. This gives anyone in the team access to the car, tools and K9 if necessary. That means I need to turn off Automatic window locking, environment when I arrive. I still get tail gate open notifications. I like to turn on 110V power for anyone needing a hookup during the mission. Annoying to have to arrange all this when arriving (is hecktic), a SAR-mode would be great (some sort of macro to automate a bunch of settings). Anyway this is possible via the Tesla API?

I go through a fair amount of 18650 batteries for lights and other equipment. In the SUV I had an always on 18650 charger ... on 12V. Radios are charged on 12V also. Would be nice to have 12V outlets in the middle front section. Has anyone done this or found a better solution?

I decided on a few Husky bins to keep stuff organized, not bad but I still need to purchase that divider for 300 bucks. Is there some sort of strap to mount small bins to the L-track?

Any other mods/add-ons specifically for your SAR function you recommend?

I mean, you could use a "120v to 12v cigarette socket converter". just double check the load and ensure the power outlets are left active. As for jumping in and out quickly with ease of access, if it's parked somewhere safe you could put the CT in "Camp Mode" and also enable "PIN To Drive" to ensure there won't be any unauthorized person trying to drive the vehicle. Does that help?

Sort of! I have a decent setup with recharge-able lights, radios, etc. in the back seat area with the K9. I do some Doberman training, but not specifically for SAR. On a job site (or mission in this case) I just have the "leave outlet's on" toggle on, so that my comms stay and chargers stay powered on by the rear seat power. Just leave the door open a bit and everything will keep running for a good while. I think it'll time out after an hour, but I'm usually poking around often enough to either keep it on, or leaving long enough that it isn't really an issue to close up. In your case however, I think camp mode might be your best option. Should keep the all the power on indefinitely even with the doors shut.

I put in a power inverter 48v to 12v with 6 12v pig tails, I then put in 12v power bank in the frunk with usba, usbC, cig lighter adapter.
see photo. I run accent lights, off road light bar and power bank off auxiliary power from inside screen.
