My guess is around $1750 since the lights on the CT is around $2500 to replace.

I'm clutching my $2,500 Shop credit until the light bar becomes available for us FS AWD owners. No, I still don't have my wheel covers nor do I care. But that light bar goodness... What are we thinking on pricing for the light bar + "installation"? $969? $1,420? I'm hoping it's under $2K and is available to at least order before year-end so I can apply my one-time-use voucher to the light bar and some Tesla holiday goodies for the little ones (ok, teenagers).

I don't mind waiting a few months from order to installation, heck it took 2+ months to get my spare time from the time of purchase.

Oh, and do you think pricing will differ for FS vs. non-FS?
why do you say "one-time-use voucher" "before year-end"? Is there an expiration and does it all have to be used at the same time?

In typical Tesla fashion "it depends".

If you bought your FS CT in the first half of the year you likely received a one-time use voucher code for use on the Tesla Shop. Spent $15 on a t-shirt and input the code? That's it, you've burned it all. No carryover.

Needless to say, there were a few complaints to Tesla.

Later FS deliveries apparently received a $2,500 Shop credit posted to their Tesla accounts, similar to a gift card, so they could draw down the balance across multiple purchases.

I was in the first group and it's clearly stated that I have one year from my delivery date to redeem the voucher or...poof! I don't know how the Shop credit works, maybe someone who received that option can pipe in.

Ok thank you, i must be the second group, I have the standard gift card in my wallet and already bought a couple shirts and it worked just like any credit and simply shows the remaining balance. Do you know if there is a time limit on it?

That I don't know but if you want to send me a t-shirt every month I can tell you when I stop receiving them ;-)

I’m hoping someone comes up with a light bar that’s replaces or integrates with the DRL

What an Tesla service employee told me, take it for what's worth.

Given the hard laws against having this and the finicky installation where Tesla can't even legally hook up the bar, they may decide not to sell the off-road lightbar after this initial FS CB run.

They only did this because they wanted to stay as close as possible to reveal which included an embedded light bar. So we may not see it again after the CyberBeast FS. It's also why it's not even on the Tesla Shop as a 'coming soon' item.

If they want to give me the choice of light bar or $2k charging credit... ?

Yes, the shop credit expires about one year after issuance.

The expiration date should be in the email you received about the shop credit.

Who knows, right? But I could see them saying "Never mind!!" after fulfilling the FSCB orders.

What I want to know is: If a FSCB owner wants to sell their lightbar, does it still include installation?? There have been a few FSCB folks on here who have said they don't want the LB and will be looking to sell.

I had mine installed by Tesla about 10 days ago and love it. I'm on construction sites before dawn and after dusk and its awesome. I have not seen another CT with one yet in Palm Beach County.

My guess is $1,600 for the LB to be installed and supplied by Tesla eventually.

Maybe that's just wishful thinking. But the fact remains that off-road lightbar as is will not be legal for on-road use.
According to a recent court case and self-appeal filed by the appellate

it is indeed an off-road light bar because it sits more than 42.5 “ above the ground and must be covered. On CA the CHP is authorized to enforce it.

If it were aux lights (being lower) then you could operate and leave them uncovered.

This case was about a jeep user at or near Tahoe but considering where many are posting from, may apply.
