The Cybertruck seems to have become rather polarizing politically... with the far left hating it for the Elon association "a giant MAGA hat", and the far right hating it because they believe it is a scheme to take away their freedom trucks.

With the election coming up, I'm concerned that the losing side (whichever that might be) might take it out on my Cybertruck and those inside. I'm wondering how to diffuse that?

* Maybe a custom license plate surround (i.e. put customized text on a license plate holder)... but I'm not sure what message to put on it?
* Maybe set some lighting to the color of the losing side?
* Other options (magnets or bumper stickers or ??). Maybe a magnet with a flag of the country that I'm actually a citizen of to try to stay out of this whole US politics thing?

I would rather have one solution that is generally depolarizing than have to have a solution that promotes the other side.

It blows my minds that some people are stupid enough to not be able to differentiate their political stance to an object.

or have serious mental health issues to not be able to handle another person’s personal thoughts and feelings.

Really surprises me that people are this full of themselves.

Adding anything to your truck that is political would further polarize it.

I can't tell if you're joking or not.

This is what makes it more difficult... and that is why I think the Australian license plate surround is a good way to go... it puts me away from the US politicalization rather than pushing in one direction or the other.

lol is this post real? Colorado must not be a very friendly place
Colorado is generally friendly, but has a history of quite a few weird people. It is the mentally disturbed that I'm concerned about.

The number of (likely) politically motivated murders within a mile of my home in the last 4 years is 10! Now it was in just one incident where someone according to some reports may have been mentally ill and travelled to my area to kill people on the opposite end of the political spectrum. I just don't want to be the magnet that attracts the next mentally ill person.

Or just ignore it and live your life.
