Might be better to go with aluminum panels to bring the weight down. Pretty simple build though as all flat panels, no rounded corners to fuss with. Might be a bit tall for some over-passes though.
I sized it so that it will fit inside european road regulations. B+E driver licence.

Looks cool with the wheels far back. Like a semi trailer.

But..... I think the tongue weight will far exceed that of the CT. Just slide the axles forward a bit for better weight distribution....
The trailer itself is not that heavy and most heavy equiptment will be put close to the axles.
but yes, it's is something to considder.

You're dreaming. But that's what it takes to make innovative strides and eventual success. It's big. It's audacious, and if you science the crap out of this idea, it might just work. Good for you! Do you have a ballpark price estimate yet? Or is it too early?
It's just putting stuff together, like Elon ;)

Actually it can turn sharper than most normal trucks.
It doesn't appear so, based on the picture. I don't see any description that would help me understand how that's possible. Certainly interested in how its possible!

It it were solid, it wouldn't work, true.

But the forward fairing has a choice of either flexing at the truck or the trailer. I would choose for it to have wing that fly open to follow the trailer; that would let you use the forward space as storage under the fairing.

Since the yoke could then be a narrower piece, it could reach over the bed rails. Most of the roll affects the back corner of the bed, and so if you can make it over the higher point, you won't have as much trouble with the lower point. And a narrow yoke won't pinch the cab.

CyberTruck with CyberTrailer-2.png

This is what I'll be building.

Design in progress.
Some preliminary details:
-large ramp at the back (need to leave the cyberquad somewhere.)
-150kWh pack to offset the range hit and for power when standing alone.
-16 fullsize solar pannels on top.
-HVAC in the top
-Starlink next to HVAC
-2 full size dubbel beds. (1 in front 1 in back)
-two front wheels with small (hub)motors for additional breaking en regen when going downhill. they will double as mover wheels.
-height adjustable for ground clearance (to level with CT)

How will you roll?

I have my cyber truck on order.. Let me know when I can place my order for this. Sooooo cool !!!

Your inability to imagine that the skirt leaves room for movement is not their fault.

That shape totally could articulate by having a concave space for the tail of the truck and the triangular panels in the front be fly-panels that slid along the outside if the trailer.

-Crissa
True, but a needlessly unfriendly way to phrase it. It would have been less typing without the first sentence.

Well the OP hasn't given us much to go on. So unless we go on assumptions we won't have anything to talk about and we might as well close the thread. Or we could imagine jet packs activating and connecting and disconnecting the trailer from the truck every time the truck makes a turn.

As a reaction on the discussion related to the rocking, roling, pitching and yawing. of the trailer relative to the truck. the hitch won't be a standard of the shelf one but rather specific for this combination.

The position of the hitch depends on the terrain you are traversing. trailer will follow CT mode.

Started on this project 2 days ago, I do love and welcome your input.
but I will not explain every technical detail until the details are solid.
