Just checking how others seats are wearing. My driver seats are wrinkled after 3300 miles. I’m not a fat person. Weigh 173 lbs.
Anyone else experiencing these seat issues. For $120k truck I’d expect the seats to be perfect after such little use.

You might consider seat covers to limit the subtle pressure on the areas impacted. Seat covers will spread the weight across the seat bottom material.

Fat is not your problem. From what I’m seeing you seem to have a chronic, maybe fatal case of what my dad calls ‘noassatol.’ colloquially known as bony-butt. ????

where I’m from a couple of hours of the car sitting in the sun and that’ll be as good as new. It being cold where you are (I’m guessing) is probably having an impact. Pun intended but I’m not committed to it.

Haha. No it’s not my butt. I’m at Pensacola so it’s not cold. I’ve got a 2021 GLE 350 with 80,000 miles and seats look brand new without wrinkles. My guess is the seats either didn’t have proper cushioning material or the leather wasn’t pulled tight.
Either way this loose material is unsatisfactory for a 3 month old vehicle.
I’m really looking for feedback from other owners if there experiencing the same issue. If so I’ll just write it off as normal. Otherwise I’m getting seat replacements.

So, being more serious then, yes I’ve had my CB since July and I do get the same depressions. But, again I’m in the desert so they’re always gone by the next time I get to the vehicle.

Guessing the desert sun dehydrates that and pulls it right back tight as a drum. So while I was being somewhat facetious before if not the cold, it could be the humidity making your seats more pliable. You’re probably correct speculation about the foam not withstanding.

Its the vegan leather - my CT has been barely in the sun, looks the same. Within probably 1000 miles it started looking like this. It’s part of the reason for getting seat covers.

Correction…the truck is not $120K

This is just what you paid to have it ‘now’
In all honesty, it wouldn’t be good in a 50k car either- but I think it should be better than this. But I agree with you that we paid the extra money to have it now and on a first gen vehicle, so some issues are to be expected.

I didn’t pay to have it “now” as I am about to take ownership of a CB this weekend and in California with taxes and fees I can assure you it is less than $1000 shy of $120k so rounding, with taxes and fees, depending on state, it is indeed a $120k vehicle even if you didn’t pay to have it “now.” Mine is not FS.

YMMV depending on state.

Cheers
