It has nothing to do with 'blue' or 'politics'.
I believe it's a combination of politics, ignorance, and fear. I think a lot has changed since that 3.5-year-old poll. Since then, Musk has been red-pilled, and many on the left have abandoned/canceled all things Tesla, while many on the right are still wary of Mr. Musk. We live in a such a politicized/polarized society. I've had harpies with rainbow unicorns plastered on their Suburu shaking their fists at me on the left while guys in large Ford pickups with Trump bumper stickers coal roll me on the right. Cybertruck owners get it from all sides.

I guess ths channel us as good as any. I don't think it's too much to ask when tossing a hard earned $89,500.00 out, to expect some professional courtesy. 2nd time I had to visit the Roger's Store in MN. Whole team is lacking. I know, I know, You want specifics. 11/19/24. Service visit for vibration noise under driver side dash. I think I mentioned this problem on another channel too.

Arrived at scheduled time, greeted by SC tech. Explained problem, and provided video proof. Tech scrathed his head and said "I've never had to take a CT Dash apart, better just research Tech Bulletins." I get it, maybe there's precedence, or this is something new. I m offered a waiting room to keep working and after an hour and 40 mins, I noticed a message from Tesal saying service was complete. I searched forbSC Tech to discuss further. He was no where to be found. I walked back into garage area and found two techs and asked where my tech was, but neither knew. A third person appeared in our group but didn't announce his intentions, finally I asked where my Truck was, no one knew immediately.

They gave a vague opinion that it may be outside getting charged. I walked around the bldg amd found my truck plugged buy couldn't unlock charging port. Found someone else to talk to and was finally able to leave. ALL WITHOUT KNOWING ANYMORE ABOUT MY ORIGINAL PROBLEM.. geesh!!.

Interesting aside... when I was completing some other items for my order, the Tesla associate commented that just the previous week he had someone cancel their order immediately prior to pick up because the woman who had ordered the Tesla "couldn't take it anymore" with her family lambasting her for "supporting Elon Musk" by purchasing a product one of his companies made.

He also said that at that particular location they've had multiple people say they won't order or canceled order because of Elon.

We'll see how this soft boycott of Tesla works out... my Tesla stock is doing fantastic right now.

Had an adult guy holding up a stop sign at a construction zone shake his head at me... I think he needs to focus on maybe not being such a big sore loser holding up a stop sign than judging other's purchases. Lol.

Really wanted to yell out: "Straighten up that sign Boy!" But I didn't want him to spit on my truck.

In all seriousness, I really don't like judging others, but people like to do it to us.
I had a flagger add me to his list of awesome vehicles he had seen at work, A Mclaren, a Maserati, and me.

I think often about how well they handled it! Elon’s “it didn’t go through” was a perfect improvisation that diffused the entire situation.

Unintentionally masterful.

It's speculation on why the glass broke for the demonstration, even Elon would admit that. But the point they were making is the glass is not ordinary automotive glass. It's stronger. And that's true whether the demo was a success or a failure.
Franz was interviewed and offered that as a definitive explanation as to what happened. This was within days/weeks of the occurrence. I watched it then. I’m not going to go and try to find it now. If you’ve got different information, OK.

*Starting to I think that it might have been on Jay Leno’s garage. Either way, I’m not gonna go try and find it.

I doubt if Franz would say it was a definitive explanation of why the glass broke, he was just speculating, based upon what he knew and had observed.

Doubt away.

When it supports your argument they are gods of infinite wisdom, alchemists- beyond the reproach of mere mortals.

When it doesn’t; it doesn’t.

Shrug.

It's not whether Franz was right or wrong, it's whether he claimed to know (definitively) why the window broke (he didn't). It was mere speculation.

And, for the record, I never said anyone at Tesla was beyond reproach, but it does strike me as foolish when someone who is not a battery expert tells Tesla that they are charging their batteries in a non-optimal way, that they should apply more current, charge faster, they just don't know what they are doing.

People love to sit in the peanut gallery and throw their shells at the real performers. If they know so much, they should get out there and show us how it's done. As it stands, Tesla has the best-selling car in the world, gas or electric, by the sounds of it, they could do better.

?

The reason I don’t feel the need to desperately prove that I’m right is that I don’t speak out of turn. If I’m opining, I already know the answer. Otherwise, I’m listening, reading or researching to get it. ??‍♂

Some people just like to pontificate and sound authoritative whether they have a f-ing clue or not.

All too common these days.
