Indeed, we have google AND YouTube video of equalizer. Put me in coach, Iām ready!ā¦well, after breezer (or someoneā¦) makes a cutoff switch and someone else demos this successfully without breaking the glass.This isn't correct.
it would crush anything that fell into it opening or closing and probably violate NHTSA's safety rules.
Not that I stick my fingers into it, but sheesh.
I was curious and read the description of what they were using thise tools for...
People doing things at home aren't in a time crunch and don't need a fancy power tool to cut urethane glue. That tool is just an industrial version of an oscillating cutter. You're not supposed to be cutting the glass!
At least read the instructions before you assert what someone needs to have.

Of course, now looking at the removal instructions, if the glass can be reused (seems possible, less likely to break on removal than a large windshield) Iād rather turn the datumās into re-usable attachment points and reuse the same glass with a simple 3D printed bracket and some gasket. Maybe use send-cut-send for an additional copy out of lexan for a few bucks with a hole for venting.
