Thats what I think. Sell a "Hyper" Series at a higher price, with fewer cells (i.e. cheaper still), slap a "Foundation Series" sticker on it and voila, "Here's your Cybertruck you waited for". Maybe then enough money is generated to build the real truck (as promised).
Great thread! I'm still hoping that sometime in the "near" future someone will be able to design an EV truck that can tow 11K+ for a distance of at least 250 miles at 65mph before charging. Until then I will probably have to buy yet another ICE truck to do some RVing.

If you're towing anything at all, you will need the stock mirrors at a minimum, (if not extendable or aftermarket mirrors). Otherwise you will have no way of looking down the sides of your trailer. And anyone who ever towed (and I did a lot), knows what I'm talking about.
That's what I've been saying all along! I bet you Elon hated delivering this truck so soon. Anything under 500 miles of range (while advertising great towing capability), seems ludicris. He wasn't comfortable at the delivery event. He knew it wasn't ready, but the shareholders wanted to see...
