Camping last summer with the Cybertent, I regularly used the lowest light setting for the rear at night. Since it is the red taillights, it illuminates where you are getting in the tent without effecting your night vision and it doesn’t attract many bugs.

Yes, that’s what I’m trying to explain also—a new set of taillights are hidden behind the tailgate. We have the truck, we speak from experience. There’s so much opinion and speculation on this forum.

When the tailgate is down, there’s a set of taillights that are exposed.

Yup, the 2024.14.3 update allows it to be customized when held down. You can choose to have it control one thing or to ask each time.

I did the update and played with the lock sounds before turning back off (I prefer to be more stealthy). Now it makes an odd sound when locking. Probably a bug. I’ll see if it clears up later or I’ll try to record the sound.

Picked up today in Libertyville, IL and a great drive back to the Madison, WI area. No major issues—just a minor alignment issue with the top trim along the tonneau. That I’ll put in a service request for. They also admitted it is really difficult to clean for delivery. I’ll give it a once over...

My 2017 Model S spent about a month in the shop within the first six months of ownership. I got loaners each time (three total shop trips). Totally a distant memory now. They’ll get it right for you!

Reports of weak breaking and not being able to stop could be related to the accelerator pedal being stuck down.

How did you get delivery in Illinois? I’m still waiting VIN and it shows home delivery (Madison, WI area).

Configured on 12/21/23. Still waiting VIN. App shows home delivery, but I’d happily drive to the Chicago area to pick up like I did with my Model S.
