I'm in the same situation as you. Last Friday 5/29 that said that they are waiting on a part to arrive. Checked in today and they said "the part is still on the way. Sigh...

My trade in offer with Tesla expired. Does anyone know if Tesla will honor the original trade in offer? It’d be very annoying if not given it’s their fault
#1 for me. I’ve been checking in everyday and was told that the part they need is still on order with no ETA. When I ask what part they’re referring to, they say they don’t know.

Given that there's already an issue with the vehicle before delivery, I'm wondering if it's better to just cancel and re-order to avoid getting a truck with issues later down the road. I'd love to have it before a summer camping trip, but also ok without it to get a better truck.
Ouch... how long are you waiting before cancelling? Unfortunately, my financing and payment are already complete. Still trying to figure out if I can pause financing with my bank and how long I should wait. I'd hate having to cancel and re-submit things if it'll be fixed in the next week or so...
