I agree. I'm intending to use the truck as a truck not a piece of bling. I need to haul lumber, plywood, brush piles, and go camping (Cyberlandr?). I'm not interested in hauling people just to impress them with a 0-60 time.
I would rather have a conventional steering wheel and some basic controls for volume, climate etc but I'll put up with the "lifestyle" options to have actual truck features like 3500 lb load, durability and rock/dent/rust resistance.

I reserved a Tri-motor in late june with FSD and then a dual in July (missing the 7K FSD cutoff).
I'm fine with another 2-3 year wait so I can decide how much $ to part with.
The dual will probably be fine but if only the Tri-motor gets the 4680's I might have to rethink the options.
