    New owners questions ?

I whole heartedly agree. Not rainx washer fluid, not spray bottle. But the original flip top wax on wax off version. it works so well I actually had no idea the squiters only sprayed on the up stroke. Rarely use wipers and certainly not the sprayers

    Is this a rain sensor??

Look like you guys have done a good job of digging around in the service manual, I looked over it too and wasn’t able to find anything conclusive but the clear lens kinda facing up and what I’ve seen in a few other vehicles I’ve had and worked on.. I think it’s an ambient light sensor. When I...

HELP: Can my Cybertruck tow for 144 miles without charging stops?

I had no idea you could plug the trailer specs in to the Tesla app or onboard trip planner. Do you have screenshots?

HELP: Can my Cybertruck tow for 144 miles without charging stops?

I’ve pulled a trailer a few times with the CT and the number one factor in energy consumption is speed. I start off at 55 mph and let the truck learn the trailer and air loads it will pretty quickly revise the arrival estimates. Then maybe bump the speed up if there is plenty of margin but with...

    Home charging speed

by your own admission (318/18=17.667) it takes -18 hours to charge your CT from 0 to 100% against all recommendations for EV charging habits. -Taking a DAY longer that your MS doesn’t make any logical sense with the provided information. Additionally, the “tank” in tour CT is around twice as big...

Dealing with FSD and Pay attention to the road

Oh I remember those days. 5 strikes could put you out for months. Every version of FSD, from the beginning, would have no tolerance for a driver looking at a phone.. period. It would have about the same tolerance for a driver messing around on its own nav screen. I’ve put a good amout of effort...

    Is cybertruck theft proof?

they don’t, they just drag it.

Wind speed vs Cybertruck (with single digit temperatures)

Model 3 same way- direct experience in an airport parking garage. The 20a 120v adapter - 16a continuous really helps get at least some positive charge rate while cold I expect all Tesla vehicles are the same. Probably most other EVs… but again, no experience there

50% Smoked Tinted PPF wrap on my Cybertruck

I love the color, love the transparent nature and the idea of of the Stainless brushing showing through. Those swirl marks are hard to ignore though…. Some PPF can self heal but I’ve not known them to reduce swirl

Rear-end collision. Distracted driver with phone in hand caught on video

15 years ago the most hazardous folks were drunk drivers you could typically avoid them by when you drove, my guess is that on most nights after 10 .. about 5-10% had alcohol in em.. 5% were drunk and every one of them said “oh I’m a better driver than most so I can do it” now phones in use...

    Eliminate the blue snowflake ❄️

My preference is 71 in the truck. But I know some folks will use the heater like in ICE car heater - that will smoke your range big time but really just skyrocket your energy consumption. How I do temp in the cold though depends on if I’m trying to stretch my range and get back on planned...

    Eliminate the blue snowflake ❄️

I’m scratching my head as to why it hasn’t been brought up before as of yet. there are two ways to warm your pack or clear the snowflake with out driving or pretending you are going to a SC. scheduled departure- I set my departure to every day (day tiles) when I’m home (location at top) to...

Overnight, stopped charging and will no long charge

Right on- I’m feeling like the wand didn’t get good connection - considering your gear is pretty new I’d just have a look down the pins in the wand and the truck just to ensure nothing obvious in there. Make sure the wand is good and seated in and honestly I’d take it on the trip no problem...
