This is exactly what I am wondering. I read on another thread that somebody else said that if you have higher than 20.9 you can’t get 12.5 when it comes out.
Anybody know how long we can sit and do nothing after receiving a quote before Tesla forces a credit on us instead of the PowerShare equipment? My quote, see below, was higher than anything else I’ve seen on this forum at almost $6,200. This seems nuts to me.
I’m certainly no expert, but from what my I stalker is telling me, and from what I’ve read, it appears 3M only makes true PPF (self-healing) in clear applications. And the color options they have are vinyl. Are you saying that when Tesla uses 3m, they use 3m vinyl and then cover with 3M Clear PPF?

3) The date you received your VIN assignment (if known): 4/29/24
4) The number range of your VIN i.e. 5600, 1200 (if known): 8400...
So, quick update. This may be a total coincidence but Saturday night I uploaded all of the information that the PowerShare installer requested… then, viola!, this morning my VIN appeared! ???
To add to the fanaticism of it all, yesterday I also signed up for a paid premium X account just in...
So you don’t need to complete it, or communicate with them separately, to make sure the process keeps moving forward?
Also, I’m heading out of the country in two weeks (for a week). I’m assuming that is something that I want to communicate to someone in case delivery times up with my trip...
