They are fantastic. Btw, they work well for frunk organization too.
Also, they are not necessarily just good for a full bed length setup. If you have a cybertent or horizontal shelf divider a shorter piece is a good way to get access to whatever is underneath it.

I think if you are able to get a set of the side brackets and install them like Tesla does it almost doesn’t matter what you use because if it comes loose it won’t fly off the car and can then be redone.
I’d say that’s likely Tesla’s engineering rationale for approaching the recall like that.
