Brutalist design doesn’t only imply the roundness or sharpness of an edge. It also implies a heavier, more sturdy structure.
Ultimately, phones, tablets and computers will likely evolve further away from this type of concept and more toward the idea of the technology disappearing and the output...
I hope it has everyday usable features which get highlighted at some point. How much storage, interior features, range, suspension types, wheel / tire combos, etc. Seems like all we’re getting is the extreme case features.
If you do drive it into a lake, you probably should record it and get...
I’d like some actual CT specs and real world usable accessories.
Not sure how many people outside of click hungry YouTubers will actually try to drive the CT through deep water.
Seems to me this is code from Elon for: what level of profit are we ok with for each CT? Based on initial reservations of 1M+, seems like there’s a question of how affordable to make it, how many types to have (plaid, dual motor, etc.) and how to make it priced attractive enough to eat into the...
Yeah, this seems to be the case. Didn’t Elon say they would reduce it by 3% all around? I also wonder if the shorter front will help give it a better approach angle when off roading?
A one way ticket from Seattle to Austin isn’t a big deal. I’d want to drive the CT back from there, but take a week or so to do it by stopping at a couple of National Parks to explore and make a real road trip out of it.
So hilarious. I would happily fly down to TX, pick up my CT and drive back to the PNW. Seems like deliveries will happen at a road side Tesla tent in NM, but I’m ok with that.
I believe Elon has said CT pickup at the factory in TX would be possible. That’d be my option. Make a vacation out of it. Fly down from Seattle, pick it up and then road trip back home.
