Update from Elon: Cybertruck production starting late 2022 and volume production in 2023

I'm definitely no scientist but unless I'm wrong, burning organic material releases carbon back into the air. With that in mind, it doesn't seem like controlled burns would be my choice to address anything to do with the climate crisis. Turning dead plants into mulch or other building...

Update from Elon: Cybertruck production starting late 2022 and volume production in 2023

I hope by this time, most have learned to live without that $100 they put down for a reservation and not give up hope. I'm still undecided as to choose the Model Y or the CT so will wait with our M3 working just fine until I actually have to make that choice. At this point, I'm wondering which...

Latest Emergency Vehicle Collision in Houston

Most all of us have muscle memory along with reflex actions that can negatively impact the final result when AP or FSD is engaged. When I first started using these features over 2 years ago, I was frequently jerking the steering wheel in response to other drivers doing stupid things around me...

CT Companion vehicle - model 2, Aptera or other

I have 2 Aptera and a Tri-Motor CT reservations plus currently drive a LR Rwd Model 3. My wife doesn't drive and we don't really need a truck but I sure miss my Ram 4x4 quad-cab I sold my daughter. I'm really hoping the Aptera will be able to charge on the Tesla SC network. If so, I will...

Tesla should contact customers in RESERVATION # ORDER, regardless of motor choice... right?

Right after the stock split and I realized that I would be able to pay cash for the Tri-motor, I changed mine from dual to tri. Don't care if my place in line changed or not since I waited over 2 years for my Model 3, waiting for the Cybertruck will be worth it.

    What would prevent your purchase?

Since I already have a paid-for Model 3 and don't really need a truck, things like efficiency, ride quality, size affecting where it can be parked, insurance cost, repair cost, range, and how the unknowns are dealt with. If the 4680s become available plus increase the range in a Model Y at a...

How can the Tri-Motor Cybertruck at $70k possibly be real?

I figure it will be close to $80k by the time everything is added for myself. My better half isn't going to be paying for it as I'm going to sell as many TSLA shares I need to to make the purchase when the time comes. She can live with that...;-)

How can the Tri-Motor Cybertruck at $70k possibly be real?

Since the info provided says they will be allowing changes at the time to confirm the order before confirming by paying an additional deposit, I'm going to decide when that day comes. I have paid for the full FSD pakage on my Model 3 and do use most of the features it can do now (pre-beta) but...

How can the Tri-Motor Cybertruck at $70k possibly be real?

I agree but still hope Crissa is right. When I first placed my $100 deposit for the CT, I included FSD at $7500. That was the price at the time but now when I look at my reservation in my Tesla account, it shows it at $10k. If anyone that had reserved when FSD was at $7500 could confirm that...

How can the Tri-Motor Cybertruck at $70k possibly be real?

Here is what the actual pre-order agreement says- Pre-Order Price, Taxes and Official Fees. The pre-order price of the Vehicle will be confirmed in your Vehicle Configuration and Final Price Sheet. As you may have only configured part of your Vehicle, any pre-order price provided to you in...

Anyone else have their FSD option now say $8k?

"Pre-Order Price, Taxes, and Official Fees. The pre-order price of the Vehicle will be confirmed in your Vehicle Configuration and Final Price Sheet. As you may have only configured part of your Vehicle, any pre-order price provided to you in advance of the Final Price Sheet is only being...

Can we expect the Cybertruck in 2021 -- What's your opinion?

My guess is they'll have a select few to employees before the end of 2021 but a wider rollout won't start until 2022. The reservation tracker has my predicted date being 02/22 so unless the tracker is way off my guess should be close.

    Are the specs achievable?

The topic is about can or will they meet the price/range promoted at the unveiling. I was just pointing out that they probably will but will all the promised equipment be in every price point and as history is/has shown us, the equipment and price is open to change. When I first put down my...

    Are the specs achievable?

I just want the truck to come in at the price quoted without any extra expense besides adding FSD, doc fees, registration, and insurance. What I fear is the price will be there but if you want the onboard compressor, AC outlet, Homelink, premium connectivity, vault cover, etc. that will cost...

Cybertruck pics & videos from the Petersen Automotive Museum [Dates Extended Until July 5]

My guess would be the same supplier of the SpaceX program in Boca Chica.
