  1. FSD Isn't Coming Anytime Soon

Thanks for that clarification. I might've meant the adaptive cruise control (single click down on the stalk, rather than a double click).
  2. FSD Isn't Coming Anytime Soon

My wife and I have both had several instances where we're driving with AP engaged and it will do that nasty phantom braking. I have also had it "take corrective action" because it thought I was leaving the lane when I actually wasn't, and other times on the same drive where I *did* inadvertently...
  3. What will be your first Cybertruck Experience?

If ours are both going to be ready at about the same time, I could do the same thing (I live in SW Portland area). I'd be sure to bring my fly fishing gear as well. What a treat that trip would be.
  4. ? [Update: NOT Production Wiper] New Cybertruck design spied! Shortened front, no door handles, side mirrors, curved windshield glass! [Dec. 10]

As others have said, I do *not* like that BAW (big ass wiper) and it us FUGLY. I like the idea of a 6.5' bed as I was thinking I'd be able to sleep in the vault for short, overnight trips to the coast or mountains for some fishing. I have a 5.5' bed now and that won't work for me, and is, in my...
  5. Camp Mode (Tesla official video, <1min)

Yeah, I guess "long term" was a bit vague. I'm thinking of week long hunting trips I've taken with my buddy. In those cases, even sleeping in the covered bed of my pickup was something that, while I do it in that situation, would *not* be great if my wife and I were to do some camping. It seems...
  6. Camp Mode (Tesla official video, <1min)

Anyone planning on long term camping and sleeping in the bed of the CT? I see it as an option for only a single night, maybe two, but I would need to have better options for just hanging out in camp than sitting inside or laying down all day. That just means bringing camp chairs, maybe having an...
  7. EV truck reservation poll

I have the CT3 reserved with $7k FSD. I would much rather have a smaller (mid-size) pickup but currently drive a 2019 RAM 1500 Laramie simply because I couldn’t find a mid-size pickup with the “luxury” features. I am a big fan of the large screen and the 4 wheel air suspension that allows me to...
  8. I have CT reserved, but I rented a Y on Turo. My thoughts - and yours :)

Man, I feel for you. We just got my wife a Model Y last month and we love it. I’ll still keep my 2019 RAM Laramie pickup until the CT is out. This way I have my truck for truck stuff (hauling my kayak, mainly) and can also enjoy driving my wife’s Y.
