Tent + kitchen setup: a bit impractical

Yes that's a really good idea. We'll have to see how the frunk ends up opening. Would work really well if it opens like the lightning with a front gate, maybe not as good if its just the hood that lifts up like a traditional frunk.

    Rear Wheel Steering

The trailer sway happens when you turn, like avoiding an obstacle in your lane. When a truck normally does this, the truck trailer alignment compared to the road is lost, everything is at an angle compared to the road. Rear wheel steering eliminates that. It functions differently depending on...

    Rear Wheel Steering

They have to add this to be able to live up to their crazy towing capacity claims. Rear wheel steering significantly reduces trailer sway at high speeds, its often the limiting factor when trucks receive their tow rating.

    Door handle issue

Ideally, if it's bad weather and you don't want to use your phone with gloves to pop the door, you could use the keycard. Hopefully that will be picked up by the sensor through a sheet of ice. Then hopefully the pusher is really strong, I've felt like I was going to break the very solid feeling...

Hoping for a Cybertruck update June 10

What's the reason you want mudflaps? To me they just protect the paint on my car, salt and road grime seems to find its way around the mudflaps anyway.

Will the truck come with a full size spare?

Willing to bet it won't come with a spare. The under bed storage hatch pretty much confirms it, since that's the only place it could go. Nothing stopping you from buying an old used rim and tire and throwing it in the bed.

☀️ New Cybertruck tonneau patent mentions potential use as Solar Panel

That and ice/snow are my concerns too. They will have to have a brush type seal along to it remove the majority of debris. They really need to make it easily serviceable to open up that storage area and use a vacuum/compressed air to clean it out.

☀️ New Cybertruck tonneau patent mentions potential use as Solar Panel

Mid gate would be nice but highly doubt it will be in the final design... seems like a big challenge for the engineers. Could see it causing more problems than it's worth.

☀️ New Cybertruck tonneau patent mentions potential use as Solar Panel

It was filed 19 November 2020, so probably was still part of the design then. I looked at the proportions, assuming the bottom of the bed that's highlighted is 6.5', and it comes out to the total length being 234". For reference the F-150 (SuperCrew 5.5' bed) is 231.7 " long.

Cybertruck vs F-150 Lightning vs Rivian R1T - Timing, Pricing, Range, Performance Comparison

From what I can find, as of 2020, yes it's available across the board for them. They are emphasising it as a Lightning feature here though: https://www.fleet.ford.ca/

Cybertruck vs F-150 Lightning vs Rivian R1T - Timing, Pricing, Range, Performance Comparison

Ford is going to carve out a nice market share of EVs based on their fleet offerings. The Lightning Pro is the low end affordable model and comes with baked in fleet management tech. All your trucks locations, state of charge, maintenance schedule, etc. in one place through an online portal/api...

    F150 Lightning Predictions

The range is not great, especially after looking at their Ford pass charging network in Canada. Most of the locations they have are very spread out in my area, and any DC fast chargers on it are mostly just Volkswagen dealerships haha. How do they expect you to drive a 370km range vehicle around...
