I agree with the sentiment. Instead of the "Foundation series" logo I'd prefer to get 20k in discounted TSLA stock options for example. Because let's face it, most of the early adopters are fanatically supportive of Tesla and some of us (me included) justify paying more to support the company...
having been through this since the beginning this is always the way with Tesla. Every single new model has had this same exact problem.
We are beta testers, these are all prototypes. Certainly much better (in my opinion) than the first S and X's were (having owned the earliest builds) but this...
OMG these vampire numbers are truly insane. I dont know why this is not being tweeted at the highest levels to get Elon's attention.
I dont even understand what it is doing to consume so much power.
mine too. I feel like I have a huge hole in my battery leaking electrons. About 1 mile an hour of vampire drain I've never seen anything like this in 12 years of driving teslas. Hoping this update fixes it.
I may try that. I'm losing like 10-15 miles per day with the thing just sitting in my garage. That is an insane amount of energy being wasted for God only knows what. I cant understand how a computer could chew up that much energy unless maybe they are having these cars secretly mine bitcoin??
Thanks for the suggestion. This is a forum for friendly discussion not Wikipedia. My post, as of the date I posted it, is factual. Hopefully in the future the V4s will be everywhere. Regardless, for those poor people that do not own a V4 supercharger at their homes or workplace, expect roughly...
Appreciate you correcting the record but for 99% of people at this moment, my statement holds true. Hope it changes in the future and when new software updates and V4 superchargers are everywhere that will change. But with regards to 110 and 220 charging thats going to remain a fact that...
No my statement is correct. The superchargers you mention are rare to find. For all other charging, whether you charge in a standard 110 outlet or a charge point site at work, it takes twice as long to charge relative to any other Tesla. that is a fact.
By the way, another big difference from the F-150 (raptor) is that it easily fits in my 2 car garage (because it can squat down to 5'9"). This is a big deal for me due to limited driveway space and because I dont really want to attract onlookers to my house.
