Charging at restaurants hotels and work

I would love it if more places had destination/level 2… with my Leaf, slow fills up in less than four hours most times. I would have loved to have bought an electric bagger, but no one makes one for under $30k… at least that I have found. And my CyberTruck will replace my Subaru for long...

    Solar panels

I budgeted $2,000 for the solar option. Yes, $1,000 for the parts is probably enough, but... I want this to be profitable so they offer it on more than the CyberTruck.

    24’ Cable on Wall Connector!

We as a society of iCE vehicle drivers have perfected several technologies that make handling a long, heavy thing that makes the car go again easy... so easy that a wide range of people can handle it. The reel that helps support the weight of the hose (but does not wrap the cable on a reel)...

Why I want Cybertruck in 50000 pictures or less

A lift would help get over obstacles, but the suspension components (arms, etc) would also need to be beefed up as well.

Is the folded exoskeleton actually easy to manufacture

The external skin is 3mm, the internal "body" will be stamped steel, and the bottom will be cast aluminum. Having seen complicated ductwork made with just a brake and a pair of hand shears... not doubting it can be done and easier. Yes, the metal is thicker, harder to bend and I assume no hand...

Why I want Cybertruck in 50000 pictures or less

This is my 3rd Subaru, 2nd Outback. I have not high centered any of them, but came close in some snow. (piling up underneath) With no winch, I do not try anything dramatic.. but never had issues with gravel, dirt roads, grass... but again, with no winch, I avoid mud at all costs. I have pulled...

    Charging station for home/work

I will want to upgrade my home charging before or when I get my CT. I have used 120v with the Leaf and for the larger pack, will want a little faster capability.

ISN'T IT TIME FOR ALL HOTELS TO START INCLUDING ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS?

I assume that if any Tesla’s are present, the sentry mode footage might deter would be thieves… or maybe not!

ISN'T IT TIME FOR ALL HOTELS TO START INCLUDING ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS?

I have never used anything more powerful than 11 kW charger in 4 years. I could (if Chademo chargers actually worked when I got to them), but I have not. I agree with Crissa, overnight, even for Tesla's cars, 10 hours of trickle charge is still better than nothing, and for smaller and/or more...

    4-Wheel steering

Thrust vectoring, traction control (ie, applying the brakes), and RWS could make turning radius very tight... but might be less than nice to your tires, depending on several factors. Hope there is a setting or it is part of the modes... like in chill, the combination is the least damaging to...

The curse of 'white oil': electric vehicles' dirty secret

People say digging is expensive, but when these aerial power lines start forest fires that burn millions of trees releasing tons and tons of carbon into the air... Not sure I think that equation balances the way many used to think it did. 2-3 times a year, my power is cut because a car or truck...

Why I want Cybertruck in 50000 pictures or less

I keep getting tempted with a 2" kit for my Subaru... but since I also use it for long distance highway driving more than off-road, it keeps coming up a no in the decision tree. How about a trailer and an electric ATV? I saw this trailer that holds the ATV and the ATV can pull... but since you...

Why I want Cybertruck in 50000 pictures or less

My Leaf and Subaru are paid off. My motorcycle should be paid off before my turn in reservation comes up to get my CT. My house might even be paid off by then... If Jeep released a decent plugin hybrid Gladiator, I might be tempted... but trying to sell a gas truck in 3 years (or 4) is going to...

Texas A&M professor launches lithium-based battery startup to improve electric vehicles

I hope they have better success than other companies have had. The wikipedia page on Li-S was an interesting read.

The curse of 'white oil': electric vehicles' dirty secret

I am still not sure why power lines have to go in the air. We manage to put other utilities in the ground (water, gas, sewage) and other countries have found a way to do it... (and I am aware of how grounding works) Yes, storage will be important, but so will be adjusting power hungry...
