When you read articles like this, it’s proof that the author isn’t subjective with the CT, but just has an anti Tesla and CT objective like so many others. I sincerely believe that once the CT goes into full production, all of those naysayers will be eating a healthy portion of humble pie, as...
Rather than being an objective observation about the CT, it’s abundantly clear that the author of this article is making many personal attacks on Musk and Tesla in general. After doing that, it brings into question how objective this person is. I personally believe that Tesla will overcome the...
I agree. I only loosely look at these threads because the speculation and rumors abound. Tesla holds most things somewhat secret, so we’ll just have to wait to get the final sales price and delivery dates. Tesla might not even have firm pricing yet, as they have to ramp up their supply chain...
I’m not sure what the premium might be, but consider this. To breakeven, you would have to sell the truck for the full price that you paid for it. Whoever purchase of the trucks from you, has to pay that price, and perhaps about another 8 to 10% on top of that to satisfy just the tax...
Assuming the Cybertruck is eligible for the full $7500 federal tax credit, to get that full benefit, you have to have paid at least that amount in federal tax. You don’t get a refund, and you aren’t allowed to carry any remaining balance over. In other words, if you paid only $4000 in federal...
Excellent points. Gas is California is a minimum of about $4.50 a gallon, so even a better reason. We’ve had model Y LR for over two years, and a plug In hybrid, so we’ve saved a lot of money over time. That withstanding, the CT is BAD ASS!
A wheel can be used to generate electricity while driving, however, the resistance that it causes on drag to generate electricity will have a negative effect and actually take more power to operate the vehicle. This only works during the regenerative braking or coasting when kinetic energy can...
I f they did, it would be a very inexpensive source of additional revenue, as they would still charge the customer the delivery fees. I live about 45 minutes from the Fremont factory, and asked to pick-up our model Y there, and was told that we would still have to pay the delivery fees.
I really can't find the answer, but has Tesla actually stated that if you pick-up the CT there, that they will in fact provide a factory tour? If so, I'm in!
I would likely do the same and pick it up, but have a question. If you pick it up, does one still pay the destination charges? I live only about 45 minutes from the Fremont factory, and still had to pay the $750 destination charges even after willing to pick it up there.
