If you think nobody wanted to townrith the Cybertruck, you didn’t read any of my posts on this board.
The reveal specs were a match for my towing-needs, the delivery specs were not a match for my towing-needs.
As such, having a 2022 Model Y in my driveway along with a 14 year old hybrid pickup...
The electric motor in my GMC Sierra Hybrid is a huge improvement it comes to when maneuvering a trailer and hitching up.
Applying force smoothly is good for trailers, and electric motors are often very good at that.
I currently tow with a hybrid pickup truck.
I can’t wait to replace it with an electric pickup truck.
The reveal stats for the Cybertruck were a decent fit for my task, but the delivery stats are a huge miss for my purposes (6000lb trailer, 200-mile travel-legs with trailer attached).

In the USA, 55-60 is the speed I tow at - but that limit is set by my feel for what I’m towing. Above 60mph, things usually don’t feel right so I back off.

That's what Tesla is selling, but it's not what I'm buying.
I'm a suburban dad who wants to tow his camper, run to Home Depot, get groceries, and transport children.
I don't want either a supercar, or an electric brodozer.
I spent years following the wrong truck.
