  1. Anyone notice what looks like self leveling in the Tesla promo?

Great!, I haven't waded through all the review videos yet.
  2. Anyone notice what looks like self leveling in the Tesla promo?

Looking at the Tesla 'Keep the adventure going' video and the instant tent picture and I think I am seeing self leveling suspension! Quite possible this capability is there but not yet mentioned. Anyone see this too or heard any confirmation? Look at the wheel to wheel arch gap left and right...
  3. Elon Musk: Cybertruck option packages & [aftermarket] third-party add-ons will be 🔥🔥

The worrying thing about the production changes is that the front bumper and the rear diaper/aero plate are lower than the prototype, so less off road friendly. The approach and departure angle have suffered I fear.
  4. Cybertruck Spotted LIVE in Stanford on Public Roads! [Video]

Great to see CT out on the streets and thank you for posting. I think it looks even better out in the world and on the move. I know it is seen here at the lower 'on road' height, but at the end of the clip I'm just not loving under the rear bumper - looking a bit like a kid with full nappy...
  5. Cybertruck Bumper Sticker ideas

Not a sticker, but maybe even better. Queensland, Australia has a lot of options for personalized, legal number plates. This is one that I could order. (Mars 4th rock from the sun)
  6. Where I want to drive my Cybertruck - and Thanks Elon for your Vision.

Just came across your post here Ray. The Simpson desert is definitely a trip on my list. Although we wouldn't be the first electric vehicles to cross it. There were two EV converted Suzukis crossed in 2017 and I believe still hold the record for solar powered crossing of the Simpson Desert. In...
  7. Cybertruck News From Battery Day: A/C Controls in Bed Possible and 200k-300k Annual Production Estimate

These are correct, but I think our biggest problem may be that a right-hand drive version will be required for us and that will take some engineering which Tesla may choose to utilize on other work for larger markets. Ram trucks are now available in Australia and proving fairly popular but that...
  8. Cybertruck News From Battery Day: A/C Controls in Bed Possible and 200k-300k Annual Production Estimate

Looks like we here in Australia may have to wait even longer if the 'big' CT isn't coming down under. :(
  9. Cybertruck pics & videos from the Petersen Automotive Museum [Dates Extended Until July 5]

I am disappointed to see that the tow hitch receiver has what I call a high 'plough' factor. Ahh.. that's 'plow' factor for those that drive on the other side of the road. ;) With Telsa's great design capability I had hoped for a tow hitch that preserved the departure angle. I know that when...
  10. Cybertruck pics & videos from the Petersen Automotive Museum [Dates Extended Until July 5]

Great to see fresh pictures in good light. I notice that the front panel below the bonnet (hood) and lights has a slight curve. That would mean this panel is probably rolled to form this curve and the narrow panel sections at the top and bottom of this would have to be welded on. So this welded...
  11. UHF Radio?

Yes the antenna is another point. 30X is an austenitic stainless steel designation and these are non-magnetic.
  12. UHF Radio?

The Cyber truck should be (very) capable to join other four wheel drives for off road adventures - I think we can all agree in that. I order to maintain good communications between vehicles - such as letting the guy behind you know they should stay left while crossing that creek - I am used to...
  13. Video: Earlier test shows window withstanding steel ball throw by Franz

Yes, I've been wondering about that explanation for a while. We did not see a sledge hammer hit to the back door either in the warm-up video or during the on stage demo. What does that explanation say about the isolation of front and rear doors? I also note that in the warm-up video you can see...
