Getting cold feet. Vin Assigned, pickup anyday. What to do?

I shouldn’t have compared the range figures. This would have been my forth Tesla. It’s really the price that I have issue with. I convinced myself at first that the extra $20k for the FS was worth it because of its rareness and availability to me immediately vs waiting another unknown amount of...

Getting cold feet. Vin Assigned, pickup anyday. What to do?

I cancelled my order. Last Tuesday. It’s too much money for me. When I first got on the list on reveal night , I chose a RWD model. $39k. Then they said the RWD would be the last to be put in production so I switched to a 2 motor AWD. That was going to be $49k. No it’s $99k and about the same...

Tesla is Not Treating Us Like Customers

Maybe that’s why none of us have VINs yet? Maybe they’re on pause trying to figure out how to address these range reports drivers are posting?

    Just in…from the Foundation order:

I wasn’t expecting to get the credit/rebate but I thought that may be what they were waiting on in general for all models offered starting in 24…😉

    Just in…from the Foundation order:

My hope is for tomorrow. Even though the price range for our trucks is over the $80k limit for the $7500, still, the rebate laws change tomorrow. Hope my speculation turns out to be correct🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

    Cybertruck Range: Losing the Story

I have a 21 MS long range. I can assure you I have never seen 500 mi😳 The advertised rage was 405 I think? Anyway, it’s a little over 300 miles from where I live to LA. I can start out with a full/100% charge and only get to Santa Barbara before needing to charge. My model 3 extended range would...

    Cybertruck Range: Losing the Story

For me, it’s more about the driving experience than range or cost. I think if I tried to compare the difference in the cost of the vehicle vs an ICE vehicle and the savings for charging vs fuel costs, I would never recoup the purchase price difference. Don’t get me wrong. I love my Maserati! The...

Range for AWD Cybertruck 200-250 miles after many real world tests

The only way you’re going to know for sure is when you take delivery of your truck and find out first hand😉

Range for AWD Cybertruck 200-250 miles after many real world tests

Well, I’m not expecting the range to be 40% of advertised but it probably won’t be 80% either. It’s totally a guess for me but I’m expecting around 270, like Dandor shared in the article a few minutes ago. maybe 250. So yea, pulling a trailer that cuts that in half could be an issue for most who...

Range for AWD Cybertruck 200-250 miles after many real world tests

In all fairness, I can’t think of a single ICE I’ve had( and I’ve have a bunch of them) has ever reached the estimated miles per gallon advertized either🤞🏼

Range for AWD Cybertruck 200-250 miles after many real world tests

I can’t imagine driving 500 miles, or even 340 without a break. Food, bathroom, stretch legs, or anything else…

Range for AWD Cybertruck 200-250 miles after many real world tests

Those hoping for 500 mi range some day are going to be pretty disappointed. For me it’s not an issue. Even when I take long trips it’s not an issue that I have to stop a few times to charge.
