  1. Never go full Edsel!

The sales are abysmal. That’s why I’m buying one. Someone has to help šŸ˜‚
  2. Beast vs. Premium AWD

Yeah, I’m kind of holding off. Waiting another week. I’ll be doing an overnight test drive. Leaning toward the Cyberbeast.
  3. Cybertruck Shooting suspect

Shooting suspect... Well, this is America, so that's like 50% of the population  . What will concern the public more is that he's leg was broken in what appears to be a minor crash. Tens of thousands of us being shot every year is small potatoes, but a broken leg in a Tesla? That's a...
  4. Beast vs. Premium AWD

Some mention lifetime supercharging. Was that an offer recently? Sales are apparently ā€œcollapsingā€ which may be an exaggeration but I wonder if I should wait for o order. Right now, zero incentives.
  5. Beast vs. Premium AWD

Very sensible viewpoint. What I really like is the Alcantara dash. It’s something I could do afterwards, but add that to the extra power, and all of a sudden the whole package seems to offer more. Is it $20,000 more, probably not. Then again, will I look at that dashboard everyday thinking I...
  6. Beast vs. Premium AWD

I'm in the same decision making process. The Alcantara is really something I like a lot, so I am curious who sells the upgrade? Tesla lists the part, but it's VIN-locked, so I wouldn't be able to order a replacement from them. Plus, I think it's like a grand, which seems like a lot.
  7. Prospective Buyer with Questions

I have not put it into Beast mode or even try to throw it into corners because I had my 11-year old with me. She loved the thing by the way. She said it's "Goated" which apparently means it's better than good. I'll definitely take it for another spin by myself. I wonder if I could do a 24 hour...
  8. Prospective Buyer with Questions

I forgot to mention something. If anyone wants to know, the Cyberbeast I test drove today did not include the rivet on the gas petal. I'm guessing they permanently (and more elegantly) fixed that problem.
  9. Prospective Buyer with Questions

I wonder if it’s an auto-correct issue. Perhaps he meant Blokes. Very informative post.
  10. Prospective Buyer with Questions

I test drove it today. Impressed overall. That dashboard is massive, no kidding. The steer by wire to a few moments to get used to it, but once I did... brilliant. There were no rattles, no squeaks, it felt just as solidly built as my Juniper Y Performance. Drives nice, but not sporty like...
  11. Prospective Buyer with Questions

I love your take on it. You brought up an important point. One of the reasons why I sold my 2023 Model X and replaced it with Juniper Y Performance is the driving dynamics. The X drove like a boat. We may keep the Performance and trade in the other Y we have, so that may not be as important...
  12. Has anyone RECEIVED a 2026 Cybertruck?

Congrats! Quick question, how did you do the financing rate? Through Tesla or outside? What are you trading in, if you don't mind me asking?
  13. Prospective Buyer with Questions

We only have Teslas and have had them for years now. When someone asks me about it, I always tell them the same thing... First, one should do some serious self reflecting if a complete stranger's choice of vehicle is causing them such emotional distress. It's really a sign you're not well...
  14. Accident: Cybertruck Split In Half!

This is all over social media and some of the cruel comments and rude jokes are horrible. Ten people went to the hospital, including three children. It's amazing how people who claim "moral superiority" respond with some of the most abhorrent and dehumanizing language to something we should all...
  15. Prospective Buyer with Questions

Try putting a bunch of rubber ducks on the dashboard. That will confuse the heck out of them.
