Disappointed in Elon Musk. In 2019, he promised a "working" truck. He delivered a high end vehicle for the same people that can afford a model X or S. I think mot of us wanted a good price, good range and a tough truck. Only one out of 3. I think less than 10% will buy it at that price.
Initially, the Dual was supposed to $50K at release 2021. Two years late, 2023, the price is now $80K, an increase of 60%. Cannot blame inflation for 60% increase.
After 4 years waiting, I'm very disappointed with the price. Living in Canada, we need to add 35% exchange rate + 15% taxe. The Dual will cost me over $120K! Way too much.
I asked a colleague at work that bought the model 3 and it was like you mentioned: West coast, rest of USA then Canada. He received it 6 months later. I'm hopping it will be different for the Cybertruck.
I’m worried that the safety rules will have a major impact on the Cybertruck great looks and its nice features. In a car accident, the frame needs to absorb the energy, not the passengers. I’m wondering how Tesla will deal with that problem!
