    Winching...

I’d definitely add a winch to mine if it was available as a factory option. Whatever happens, if Tesla designs something, rest assured it won’t be bolted to a front bumper and hanging off the front of the vehicle, haha.

Cybertruck Spotted Testing Tonight in LA! [Updated With Video]

I guess it’s no big deal if you’re a manufacturer. Simple.

    Winching...

Sorry, man. I shouldn’t have said that. My fault.

Whoa, there, big fella, and put that banana back in your jeans! Haha. This is just a friendly discussion. Haha.

    Winching...

Yeah, I’m thinking outside the box. Tesla could do something different for winching besides having a warn winch hanging off the front. Tesla is building entire vehicles in China haha. You don’t know much about winches or off reading

    Winching...

Haha, not at all just driven by the vehicle not by a Mickey Mouse winch motor made in China.

    Fording depth?

The new Defender has 900mm, (2.9 feet for the non metric among us). With an air suspension, the Cybertruck should be easily able to exceed Rivian and LR.

    Winching...

Yeah, that sounds good, but big winches are heavy, and lugging a 80 Lb winch around and sliding it into a 2" receiver isnt for everyone, UpToKnowGood. It would be easy to allow for a winch driven by a PTO, to minimize weight. PTO driven winches are stronger than the bumper winches powered by a...

Will you use Cybertruck as a daily driver? What are you trading in?

Daily driver for me as well. I only own one vehicle, a 2018 4 Runner Off-road. I’ll probably just keep it, until I see how I adapt to electric vehicles. I live in rural Canada, and at the moment the charging stations are limited.

How many are buying CT that DONT actually NEED a truck?

I’ve been doomed to drive a truck ever since I drove my grandfather’s 1953 GMC as a 10year old in New Brunswick, Canada, on the back roads around his farm. But the time has come to drive a zero emission vehicle. The ICE has had its day, and it’s time for something that doesn’t pollute and kill...

    Suspension System

That’s what they have on the new Defender. It has 11” of clearance and over 3’ of wade depth. The Cyber truck should be better than that.

General safety question in case of accident

Probably lower the window and start swimming. But realistically, getting out is only part of the problem if you fall through the ice into cold water.

Look how good Cybertruck looks with blacked-out bed top

A black cargo cover looks good until it’s dirty, then not so good.
