Does that mean they don't give you the home charger, or that they don't give you the gateway hardware?
Not receiving that hardware further dilutes the value.
Not sure how you could make a profit on it unless you place no value on your time. You would be charging other vehicles at the same speed as a typical home charger, so not very fast (compared to the super charger).
A better version of this would be a business that drives out to EVs that are...
I picked up a Model Y on Thursday last week and I was actually asked by my Operations Advisor to let him know about if anything moves on my Cybertruck order because they are in the dark about the order process right now and everyone at the service center is very interested in how customers are...
I wouldn't read to much into that, it's likely just an artifact caused by the time being saved in UTC time zone. Alot of database entries use UTC for DateTime fields. If the web interface doesn't translate the datetime output to your timezone then it can look off based on your time difference...
Headroom and space in the cabin is more important to my use cases then adding additional range. And that is not all we would give up, we would also have to pay more per mile to drive due to the additional weight, and I assume more for the vehicle since batteries are the most expensive...
You mean the Prepare for Delivery, Whats Next email with your list of Tasks?
I assume everyone who has placed an actual Cybertruck order and has any open tasks on the app has received this email.
I don't think it is indicative of anything. This is likely an automated email reminder to fill out...
I placed my order. I am in WA state, RN11274XXXX.
I am a bit shell shocked right now, excited, and a little nervous. Considerably more then I have ever spent on a vehicle. I am glad I had discussed it with the wife ahead of time and already done an analysis to make sure we could keep it...
Canada is one of the easiest to explain since it shares an address abbreviation with California of CA. Most likely when they did their original reservation something got messed up and the Country Code of CA was instead put in the State field. The user with the Canada order has already...
If we get the dual motor at 79k with federal rebate we will be keeping our 2018 Model 3 LR RWD.
If, however, we are offered a Founders Edition then we would trade it in to make up most of the difference in price and keep everything within budget.
Skip the powerpoint and instead talk non-stop about Cybertruck and all the new things you read about here on CTOC everyday.
Eventually she will beg you to spend the money and buy the damn thing just so you shut up about it.
Yeah, not to mention everyone kicking the vehicle from all sides, including him kicking the light on the back at one point. Good to see everything just bounce off the exterior, gives me faith in the stainless being more durable against random parking lot stuff.
I winced a little when he was on...
I did some polling of data from the first handful of orders posted on here and Reddit on Friday night to determine this. There were invites from those who reserved Dual Motors, Tri Motors, with FSD and without FSD...
Yep, that is what I paid when I converted to an order for Model 3.
I was co fused that those ordering founders only had to put down $250. That is a weirdly small non-refundable fee to place an order.
