Can you increase the number of cybertrucks in an existing order without affecting the original pricing?

I've ordered 3 cybertruck Tri-motors (each on different dates) and would like to increase them to 6. Can I change the number of trucks ordering and not affect the original pricing per vehicle?

    Rear Wheel Steering

Could the CT do a "TANK TURN" if the front wheels turn all the way LEFT while the rear wheels turn all the way RIGHT. Perhaps a software selection will allow that maneuver. I think the reason Elon added the rear steering is so it could compete heads up with the Hummer Crab Walk and Rivian Tank...

How can the Tri-Motor Cybertruck at $70k possibly be real?

The cost reduction to produce these trucks began with their design and NO paint shop which is 1/3 of a normal factory, no stamping equipment just laser cut and fold panels, Gigapress undercarriage and robot installed plug and play wiring harness. It was designed for simplicity to build from the...

Cybertruck Has a Texas Home! Musk Announces Gigafactory Texas For Cybertruck Production!

Terafactory is 5 minutes from the airport. I'll fly there and drive it back to Maryland . . . oops, I meant I'll let my cybertruck drive me back to Maryland.

    Ok if GM/Ford go under?

Legacy manufacturers have a dilemma. They can go out of business with the old dealership model of cash flow through new car sales, repairs and used car sales or sell million mile EV's that won't need repairs, are constantly updated and will last for many more years. However, profit by...

Is 4th Quarter 2021 a realistic delivery date for the Cybertruck?

GERMANY is FAR WORSE THAN TEXAS with restrictions and the Berlin Gigafactory build is AHEAD of CHINA at this point and will be production ready with 1 year.

Upgraded order from dual to tri motor!

I ordered the Tri-motor with full self-driving right from the start but not just for range, speed, camping and utility, but as an investment. Interest rates on car loans will remain low in 2021, so the difference in price will be very manageable on a monthly basis which can be fully covered by...

Tesla Analyst Estimates 'Staggering' 650K Cybertruck Preorders

I think the ramp up will be much faster with the CT. NO painting, NO stamping, Plug in wiring harness, far more experience in streamlining factory layout. They will ramp up to 10,000 units per week within 6 months and be able to produce over 300,000 units in first 52 weeks.

If you could request three factory add-ons, what would they be?

    1. Small winch/cable that can haul heavy objects up ramp into truck bed. 2. Rear seats that fold flat while rear window divider lowers to allow flat access to truck bed from inside truck even when tonneau cover is locked. 3. drainage plug in frunk or rear storage area to drain melted ice when...

    Auto Insurance on the Cybertruck

I was paying $1600/yr with State Farm on my Model X which dropped to $800/yr when I switched to Progressive because they consider the safety features of a Tesla. However, I think by the time the Cybertruck is produced Tesla will insure these trucks themselves. Insurance companies that don't...

Is a Cyber line of Tesla vehicles on the horizon?

I like the car version but it should be bare metal the same as the others since eliminating the paint segment of the factory is a key element in limiting production costs. Aftermarket raps people can do on their own.

30X stainless steel will be a challenge for insurers and body shops

I believe Sandy Munro said the entire body will be formed from the same steel since it has to be strong enough to become the frame of the truck. It is too strong to be stamped but will be laser cut and then folded into the desired shapes with a break press.
