Keep in mind that these vehicles have different battery sizes, of course.
When I am looking at choosing an EV, I still only plan to charge to 80% on long trips. Anything more and I plan to stop for a long breakfast/lunch/dinner/nap/walk.
Otherwise, I expect to want to complain. It’s been the...
Short answer: Any full-size truck needs an “oversized” garage. If you didn’t pay extra for your garage when you built your house, it’s not big enough for any full size truck, including the CT.
Only about 20% of all US homes have an oversized garage..
Glad to hear. Instead of purchasing a new vehicle, I just bought a “chill” charger on Amazon for $40. (A charger with a fan on the backend so the phone will charge in nearly every environment.)
It happens in waves. (Long term owner here.)
It’s been happening to my CT and 17MS recently. Especially when first awaking, in a parking garage or switching from WiFi to cellular. However, it always recovers within 3 minutes tops.
Have they fixed the “launch” from a complete stop? It’s always felt like my CT “launches” after a complete stop on FSD. Like it’s always trying to be the first one off the line no matter which profile I use. (Concerned about excessive tire wear.)
My 17MS (FSD 12.6.4) doesn’t launch, it just...
It’s always been interesting to me that we don’t have a more incremental control over the speed while on FSD. Especially since the illegal nature and risk of a speeding ticket.
Good info/experiences shared.
My 17MS has gone through so many hail storms without damage mostly in Texas. So, I don’t have any concerns with the CT. (Within reason, of course.)
Ditto.
My originals latest about 20/22k miles.
Unfortunately, tires that come in new vehicles aren’t covered by warranties as when you buy them from Discount Tire / CostCo / Walmart.
1st world problems . .
I’m at ~36k miles (total) and around 16k miles in my LTX. No issues. But, yes I only use...
I recalled there being two connections (I installed the included converter in 2024, so it’s been awhile). But I wasn’t sure if your new product would be compatible to used in concert with another. (Aka the converted is capable of supporting/operating both simultaneously.)
