I wouldn’t pay over $50k for it. Price must start with a 4 or less. This trim was dumb. Should have been $60k with no downgrades. The current base trim was fine at $60k, but $70k is too much.

I saw OPs name as a bidder on C&B and was wondering if it was the same person here on the forum lol. Been waiting for a Cybertruck to hit the site for awhile now. They are rare.

Doug (the owner of that site) says they should be at 35k anyday now. 🧐
Buy under 50k is good price considering they did that 4wd blowout at 59k.
That was such a bad take from Doug. I saw the cybertruck that went for low $ on cars and bids. It was a purple wrap with two accidents on the carfax. Not representative at all but he used it to claim the CT resell was tanking.

That’s just it a silly purchase in first place could have bit little more and bought the premium.

Now attempting to get out from under before the AWD Light makes it worthless.

The 9 powerwalls these have built in should give them a $45-$50k floor. I suspect these will be a must have for many off the grid types, even if they don’t want to use it as a vehicle. I think for this crowd the lack of air suspension will be a positive. I’m sure they’ll figure out how to add manual air helper bags if they need heavier loads.
I definitely think the standard AWD initial offering, may be the lowest depreciating vehicle in the Tesla fleet. It’s feature suite compared to price, and then prompt $11k price hike, if you count loyalty/referral cash, makes it an absolute value. I’d love to know Teslas economic impact of that vehicle. Is it break even, loss, or low margin profit? I assume loss. But maybe it’s a future low margin bet +, with the DBE 4680 ramp, and efficiency of scale, of lower option spec.

Home backup and remote power is a smaller part of the reason I ordered the $59k AWD dual motor. Unfortunately this RWD version doesn't have outlets but at least still seems to support Powershare. I'm hoping that Tesla will still honor the FSD transfer from my Model Y (which was the deal when I ordered it). If not I'll most likely end up with 2 Teslas, which isn't all bad...

I love the way the Cybertruck drives and also the way it looks. To people who don't like the way it looks I just say that it's the only vehicle I could find that's uglier than me.

I think it can. My truck had the PowerShare switch on the screen. Unless it’s fake. I don’t know because I don’t have the system installed in my house.
