Tesla gave me 60k trade-in right before the dual motor was announced. Not sure how much would have been after announced.

RWD was basic but was extremely fun. It is light and nimble. Feels like a large go cart. Feels raw, like an "RS" CT. My AWD is more planted, but not quite as responsive.

I think in the low 40s, the rwd is rough around every edge it has.

My first test drive before buying a beast was the rwd, I barely made it out of the parking lot before turning around. It slipped the rear tires on even slightest wet road, no air ride, horrible sound system, no vault cover.

Secondary market on them is going to be just like a single motor model 3 if not worse.

Just my opinion well see how it goes.

If you miss out on this auction, don't despair, because here's another RWD option. A used car dealer in Georgia is offering a 2025 Long Range CT with only 2,526 miles for just $80,999.

It looks like the real thing: no tonneau cover. Lacks the distinctive 18" wheels though.

Maybe these will be unicorn status collectible in 10 years. Who knows, but it’s only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Such is life.
Like a low-mileage tan 1965 Mustang with the 170ci engine. Lots of red 289s out there.....

If OP can get it at current bid + 5% auction fee for 45.5k, I think its a great deal. Almost new CT + wrap + 20's.

I have a feeling reserve might be set too high
While I said I wouldn't disclose my top dollar I will say that I am getting close to my margins.

RWD sold for $56,500. Its an ok deal, but no where near as good as the February fire sale.

For $2490 more, I ordered a brand new, 1 year newer model, non-demo AWD with full warranty, zero abuse/history truck (that nobody has farted in)

Initial bidders b4 today had priced it correctly imo

Op why were you bidding on this, I thought u got in on fire sale
Yes I have an AWD fire sale on order but I couldn’t pass it up at 45k with cars and bids fees…. No way I’m spending 56,500 plus 5% fees plus tax etc….. that’s crazy pricing in my opinion.

The sophisticated pricing algorithm at cars.com came to the same conclusion:

used 3.webp
Sure, everyone laughed when cars.com said that a used RWD CT was a "great deal" for $80,999. Well, guess what -- as more data has come in, cars.com has changed their mind. That same vehicle is still available for $80,999, but it isn't listed as a "great deal" any more:
