Thank you. Yeah I don’t recall anyone yet posting about a hefty hail storm so thought I would provide a report. I was only about 5 miles away from the 3”-4” larger hail fortunately. None of my 58 solar panels appear to have any apparent damages but the new roof shingles took a bit of a beating. My back patio cover did get the Swiss cheese treatment though. Luckily no broken home windows. The picture of the hail in hand is from the area 5 miles away. Mine were mostly between chicken egg and racket ball size.

That's crazy! I'm glad you and your Cybertruck survived unscathed (almost). I would just have those thee dented slats replaced!

These dents look like just normal usage over time. I wouldn't even fix it. Good job on the Cybertruck. Once we had hail come through and my wife had a German car, I had a Japanese, and my car was really dented up while hers barely had a dent. It must have been bad for the German car to get damaged that bad.

Thanks for posting your experience 😊 This is the kind of "real world" conditions that showcase our CyberTrucks' bullet-proof, stainless steel and armored glass technology. As the Climate conditions get more extreme across the country this is an example of what makes our CyberTrucks revolutionary innovation 💡.

Some truth to that. Now if the insurance company’s would take the toughness into account, they should lower our comp coverage policy costs! This example saved them several thousand dollars.

No body damage or glass damage to be found. However, the weak point is the tonneau cover. It did take from what I can tell 4 visible dents on it. For others if you may find yourself with enough warning, I would recommend opening up the cover to prevent damage during a hail storm to protect the cover. The bed I am rather certain could have endured undamaged with the cover open. For reference the Wife’s M3 did not fair as well. Rear window blown out and every body panel has 20 large dents on them. Hers is in to get an estimate for damages.

Good to know, (Go CT) 👍🏼 hail can be unforgiving. Home and auto insurance has gone up past ten years in Central states due to frequent hail storms golfball to baseball size.

I wonder if you can't use your homeowners policy to get the vehicles fixed, IF they were at home when it happened... I remember a relative doing that in Texas many, many years ago... They just lumped it all together...

I'd keep the dents if the Tonneau works ... battle scars!
And the glass was all okay, Wow!

Yep pretty happy with the outcome all things considered. There is some big time bragging rights if Tesla could just perhaps somehow address the tonneau covered durability and you got yourself a good promotional score.
