contacted today after Foundation Beast truck had PCS failure 3 weeks ago - told had to return loaner and take truck since new updated allowed supercharger but closet is 25 mins away - they canceled my service appt and said PCS would be assigned by severity and VIN- so Tesla screwed up and can't get parts and now I have to take back truck and hope it does not fail more and take 1.5 hours out of work every other day for weeks or months ... Service said we have no idea when parts will be in but we need the loaner back now- total crap - any ideas to escalate ? this is an issue they created and now pushing it back to loyal owners - no dates no solutions no nothing...

Supercharging will be free for you. (Not that it offsets the time needed)
Other DC charging will work to, but not free.

Part timing going to vary between service centers. I can tell you I put in my service apt for my lightbar installation and when I got there I informed them about my newly developed can’t charge at home. They said they can’t address PCS then but would schedule me an appointment to fix that, it’s June 10. So about 70 days lead time for the parts there. Asked them about the free surcharging update and they didn’t have a clue. If the truck is drivable I can understand them wanting the loaner back. My supercharger is 30 mins away, and I’m there for a full 100% hour & five mins about every 4-5 days. Solid 2 hours outta my life and I gotta pay the 30$ for the charge. Girlfriend says her big azz Yukon is now cheaper to drive mile for mile basis. Fun stuff.

If you are still being charged for Supercharging, make a new service ticket referencing the failed PCS AC charging. You will get free Supercharging (maybe they can make it retroactive too?)

I don't know your state laws but did 3 weeks sitting in service get you to the lemon law status? I think they are trying to prevent a bunch of lemon law claims.

Totally unacceptable, if Tesla does not know when they will get replacement PSC...then NOBODY knows.

I had mine replaced 1 month ago...now concerned if it fails again...but in 2 yrs from now where they might not any PSC in the pipeline.

Tesla has to step up their customer support and goodwill. So inconsistent between service centers.

This would be my guess also, but still not right way to handle the issue. Free Super Charging has to be part of the solution, also. I am a Tesla Fan Bot, but this (own two Tesla) is starting re-shape my loyalty. I have 2024 CT (no PSC issues, YET). I do live 1/2 miles from a Super Chargers, so it wouldn’t be a big deal for me but I will expect FREE charging if/when PSC fails.

If you have a large following on a social media platform, especially X make a post about it and it will likely get fixed within 48 hours.
If not you are in a tough spot and have to just chalk it up to early adopter tax.

Mine failed to AC charge last night. I put in service request and later received a date of 6/3 for repair. Told free supercharging until repairs are complete

100% Agree, Tesla has the resources to provide some practical or monetary compensation to affected owners.

Being a new vehicle type, this design flaw has a large impact on perception. Further, as an owner I am concerned about the perceived value and how it is compromised by Tesla's utter lack of getting ahead of this, compounded by their indifference to the impact on customers. When Toyota had engine problems, with 6 months or more of replacement, they forgave payments.

A pickup truck has specialized function, that can't be substituted with a loaner sedan.

With today's real time vehicle connectivity..they should have access to and leveraged data to predict failure.

Just on this forum it appears the failure is close to 100%...and re-occurs.

Why should legal remedies /lemon law be the a recourse to consider?..shame on Tesla for this...seriously.

Tesla. Get ahead of this...now.

I've had 4 Teslas now, including 2 Cybertrucks. Each time I've bought one, service has been my major concern. The service has gotten so poor, I don't know that I'd buy another.
