Exactly what I am trying to avoid! Thanks!

Had the same issue on my 26 AWD. Service center replaced both airwave modules to resolve it. The process is rather extensive to do it and they damaged a few things which required a second visit.

That is the location of the Airwave Module:

I'm guessing that any noise is coming from the module itself, which has multiple moving parts.

If you peer into the vent, you can see the louvers move when you adjust the airflow direction. But accessing the module requires significant disassembly.

Mine will sometimes get stuck, which is remedied by a solid whack on the spot you've identified. (Yes, I did open a ticket, and of course it worked perfectly while at the service center, sigh.)

So what youre saying... Cybertruck will get AIRWAVE??! I NEED THIS FEATURE!!!

I have the same issue and I usually get the rattle to stop by putting my fingers in the air vent and applying a little pressure. Driving on gravel roads, it is almost constant but on pavement it's only occasionally. I did take it to a SC but they said they couldn't find anything and put on some insulation. Didn't work and it is getting worse. I have a long trip to a SC and am waiting for another issue to add before spending more time and money on another useless trip to SC.

Can you show me around what area putting pressure works?

Sometimes even the small vent next to the door also works.

Great...

Do you find the noise comes from the air vents that move from side to side?

will do some research and add some subtle spacers on it...

Thanks!

I bet if you put your subwoofer on max, you might be able to trigger some rattling. How about moving the vent around to see if you can find a sweet spot that may allow the airwave mechanism to not rattle?

Well the rattle is there just by bumping it with my fingers (see video first post)

As for a “vent sweet spot” already tried and rattles at least at all extreme positions…

I also have the same issue. Tesla replaced the entire dash pad but still there. They also haven’t been able to stop water intrusion into my bed at the front. Otherwise all’s good.

Also, check to see if it is the plastic that covers the steering column between the dash and the squircle. That’s my main rattle. Just ”fonzie” it or readjust.
