Called my local rep. They said ALL new Cybertrucks are being held. She said they received official word that the new trim was being held back. Couldn't provide a date and said they had no way of knowing. Said that a code or something is sent to service team from HQ when they are allowed to work on specific vehicle...

I have a strong suspicion that something is going on behind the scenes with Cybertruck production. With current Cybertruck orders well into 2027 you would think that Tesla leadership would kick Cybertruck production into high gear.

SAWD reservation holders will need to be super patient at this point.

Yes, I have been told as soon as June 23-june 29. Then pushed back to July 3-aug 14, now it's 2027. All over the span of 2 weeks.

Well, it definitely looks like it's related to the hold. Hopefully, they will get it sorted quickly and will be back on track.

The used ones sold fast cause people don't want to wait until Sept-Oct to get a new one.

And since a lot of people don't know how to plan ahead and reserve things they will just buy now.

Tesla offers the best deals of the year the last 2 weeks of june (quarter ends last day of june) so this hold is about to run right into their big incentive and sales push of the year. A positive is they are probably hard at work to resolve this hold.

True. Plus, this doesn't really stop them from making the CT's, just can't deliver them.

They presently have such a large backlog of CT orders that I wouldn't expect much in the way of extra sales incentives this quarter.

A PAWD order placed today won't be delivered until fall (Sept/Oct).

With Tesla sitting on backlog of SAWD orders through 2027 no purchase incentives are required. I would be quite shocked if we see anything offered for the Cybertruck.
