Okay. So many to listen to! Who's gonna volunteer to put together this playlist for us?
I think the thread is up to about 10+ hours of playlist music.

7hrs and 10 min. TO be fair, i did not add full albums as I did not think that would be entirely fair. Those that suggested albums, I took a look and found the song with the greatest amount of hits and just added that. Figured it would provide a sample at least. Tried (not hard) to get the exact version of whatever song was mentioned. Anyway, here you go:

Youtube Music Playlist

Should be able to be imported into your streaming service of choice.

Here’s the whole list for Apple Music.
I’ve added op’s original intended of my own first in the list - this one’s like wow for some reason (probably repeatedly mastered and recently)

The last one is an easter egg for the metal heads; the outro key change downward in a minor key is more metal than most classical. Enjoy…

Nice. Apple Music has Lossless option.

Apple should offer 3 months free for first timer. They’re desperate for switchers 🤣.

Exactly. Gotta fix most of the links tho and it will be a couple of hours until I can :/
First and last links will work lol

YouTube has data compression. That is different than sonic compression, and there can be big heaps of both.

Lossless solves the data compression issue, vs YouTube which isn’t lossless.

Compression of audio signals, like done in a studio/mastering/radio stations (moves towards the idea of) making all the sounds the same loudness, aka “everything loud”, so yeah once it distorts a little it’s a lot, but it often does cure other issues with bad mixes or imbalanced eq’s etc.

I’m not trying to make a case here but just hoping to clue in some who may love music but not know much about it. Going with a lossless service of your choice will feed a great sound system its wheaties.

What settings do you recommend high master connoisseur of musical art ?
Well, I won’t let my modesty get in the way 😂

Ok here’s whatcha do (for any sound system with any eq adjustment):

1) take all the eq settings available and drop em down as far as possible into negative territory
2) start playing the song you want to sound amazing
3) turn up the volume (knob, usually) to a level you want it for the frequencies you hear so far
4) from left to right add eq for each frequency to your taste or system limit
5) enjoy. Repeat for other songs for maxxing. At least other albums and definitely other genres.

Alternatively:
Use the same technique (in a quiet location) from the quiet end of the spectrum: flatten eq’s, raise volume to barely audible, raise individual sliders to same barely audible level. This takes more skill, but gives your ears a first-bite effect afterward because they’re not worn down by the process first.
