My first roadrip with the CT i took it to Oklahoma just to test the car. All my attackers were 100% Caucasians. One thing they all had in common was that they were driving beat up cars.

Same experience here in Omaha - mostly all younger white guys and purple/blue haired ladies and old crapy cars. From telling me I'm racists to a Nazi while being in their (VW, Audi, Subaru...)

I've had multiple experiences with white parents telling their kids to "let's go" and stop looking - every time I yell out "hey, they are more than welcome to take a look". Each time this has ended up being a positive outcome and the parents saying sorry first and then sayings thanks for letting the kids crawl around the truck.

One young girl with her parents yelled "garbage can on wheels" before they realized I was in the truck. I opened the window, and the parents started saying sorry. I told them, it's not her fault - and besides she has the right to say what she wants and shouldn't let anyone tell here otherwise. Parents were just shocked and said sorry again.

Every "you are number one" that I've gotten has been from a white person. I have yet to have a negative experience with non-white people. Just the facts. No politics.

I do think it is less about race and more so about liberal media/schools brain washing these people into thinking they somehow need to shed their privilege and speak for the so called "oppressed". Even if the "oppressed" is the CT owner.

I've seen the other side as well, the white diesel lifted shitbox and brand new pavement princess truck try to roll coal or drive as aggressive as their slow ass possibly can. I've had someone shoot at me with a .22 on a 2 lane road in a lifted SUV. Luckily it didn't make it though due to the windshield angle. My windows are tinted 5% and I never roll them down to engage in arguments with them or try to race people. I usually just slow down and let them pass, except for the couple times they tried to roll coal, since they slowed down to stay directly in front. I've had fat white lesbian Subaru drivers try to race and yell things out the window.

I've also had a white middle aged lady come up to me while I was filling up on groceries and share her opinions with me, saying she usually laughs at the trucks and asked if I was scared about being locked inside after an accident. I showed her the manual door release that she had no idea about. She then commented about how nice three interior was and the giant center screen. I made a joke about needing to wrap the fridge and she laughed. Most people are just uninformed and are being told by someone else what they should think. Most of the time, the younger white males(which I am) or females comment about it being cool or try to flirt, thinking I'm rich. I wouldn't say you could predict the reaction by what race someone is. Every non white interaction has always been positive or inquisitive to see what it looks like inside to learn more.

I considered going to the police but it was a Sunday, State police is 1/2 hour away, and I didn't want to risk my address getting out there. I did look it up online and got conflicting info about calling 911. Now it's been a few weeks after the fact...likely too late to report? I also got a good look at him when he jumped out of his vehicle at the side of the road to encourage me to engage him in a fight. I will just say that he fit the profile. We've had quite an increase in undocumented immigrants here in Michigan over the past 4-8 years. Can't say for sure he was undocumented but the orange tag was missing from the corner of his plate so he may not even have auto insurance and registration, let alone US citizenship.

You can ask to be identified as a John Doe or Jane Doe because you are afraid of retaliation.

I was visiting an Auto Parts store in rural central Ohio, and customers approaching the parts counter were always greeted with "Ford or Chevy?" One poor sap answered "but I have a Volvo" and they literally chased him out of the store with taunts of "GO BACK TO RUSSIA!"

I had that happen in a NAPA Parts store. It wasn't a NAPA a couple months later. Corporations don't like bad press.

If someone is driving aggressively and following you just put the closest police station into the nav and let them follow you there.

You don't have to leave the CT once you are there. If they are dumb enough to follow you, call the police from the parking lot.

There are tons of cameras in police station parking lots too. If there isn't a police station near by, the ER of a hospital is a second best option.

I've grown up with adversity my whole life. My calico hair and kaleidoscope eyes have both gotten me called a witch and accused of being in league with the devil on both sides of The Pond. I grew up with a minister preaching that I was a witch and devil's child. Alistair Cooke, of BBC's Letter from America, called me the nicest and most well behaved child he ever knew. Gee, who is believable? The guy who crossed himself and ran to the other side of the road nearly getting hit by a car when he first saw me, or the guy who actually got to know me? An Italian scandal sheet made similar accusations when I was going out with a $B. Both ended up stoking violence against me.

I learned my lesson. You can't ignore it and hope it will go away. You must report it. The bullies would love it if you ignore it. It feeds their power trip. If the local police won't do anything, write letters to the editor, and go to the state police. Make a stink. Make sure you state their bad behavior as antisocial behavior from the beginning. It makes it much harder for them to attack you back.
