I'm not much of a fan of the Tesla branded CT tailgate cover... is anyone using something else from Dakine, Fox Racing, etc?

Random army wool blanket if I end up needing it. There is no dent concern just the stainless getting a scratch that would need to be buffed later.

Use a moving blanket. Just fold it multiple times for extra cushioning if necessary.

I found a tail gate pad from a Colorado company called Send It, one of the Amazon reviews for it showed it installed on the CT... it has a slide down panel that allows the rear view camera to work while it's in use.. so I ordered that.

I know it's possible to just throw a blanket over the tailgate, however bicycle costs $6,500 and is a carbon fiber frame bike, I'd rather get a cover that actually fastens the frame down to padding to reduce the risk that the frame gets cracked when going over bumps.

Makes sense. My only concern had been my Tacoma or Cybertruck. I've always had mountain bikes (less than $1k) so hadn't considered damaging them. On the Tacoma I'd consider a better option as the tailgate could get dented.
