Cybertruck (Orders) Demand Would Take 3-4 Years Production to Fulfill Says Musk

I will wait. My place in line is 467,xxx based on the above. After doing some quick math to back out the single motor reservations and a conservative 15% in cancellations, I figure my net place is roughly 370,xxx. I purposely waited to order as I wanted to: 1) give the production line ample...

At what point does FSD start assisting?

I don't know when FSD kicks in, but Tesla should definitely hire these Stanford students. I'd like to have a "Cyber Khana" mode on my new stainless steel wonder ;) : (By the way, the DeLorean is electric.)

Cybertruck drag coefficient may get down to 0.30 Cd - per Musk

So, the "ugly" truck has better aerodynamics than the other two? Hmm, not surprised at all.

Amazing Back to the Future Remake Featuring Tesla Cybertruck is a Must See!!

Interestingly, the added weight of movie props on the back of the rear engined DeLorean necessitated a frame extension with casters right behind the rear wheels to alleviate much of the weight to allow the wheels to spin like that. Add the engine sound of a Porsche and you get movie magic. :geek:

Look how good Cybertruck looks with blacked-out bed top

WOW!! I really like that look. Now, that's MY truck! Thanks a bunch!

Closer look at Rivian’s electric delivery van for Amazon

It's awesome to witness the tipping point towards electric vehicles.

Look how good Cybertruck looks with blacked-out bed top

I personally don't like the sail blacked out as it interrupts the natural design flow of this awesome disruptor. I do like the color wraps especially with subtle accents. I'll keep mine bare stainless, but, man, I like this wheel and tire combo: I'm not skilled at photo shop. Can someone put...

Tesla quietly disabled the autopilot feature on a Model S

I saw the article. I hope they make it right as well. Incidentally, I didn't opt for FSD. I LIKE to drive, and I couldn't see $7K of future benefits in just software. I probably don't know enough about it though.

Rumor: There will be no single motor Cybertruck! RWD model will be dual motor.

Exactly. I reserved a dual motor. Following the same logic that a single motor is actually 2, the dual should actually have 3 (2 in the rear, 1 in front), and the tri should actually have 4 ( 2 and 2), which would place it on par with the Rivian. Can any confirm this rumor? As of now, all we...

Anyone thinking of changing to a different Tesla model?

No, I won't change to a different model. This is the first vehicle that came along that I would replace my daily driver with. I'm in the 43x,xxx reservation range and that was on purpose. 1) to give ample production line experience before building mine 2) to give 2-3 years+ before I need to...

Musk teases Giga Texas factory - for Cybertruck production?

I agree. Texas would be a great site for all the reasons listed above. It's also near the middle of the country East-West wise. Question: Does Tesla allow you to arrange to see your vehicle being assembled (at least partially) and take delivery right at the factory the same as Corvette...

Cybertruck imagined side-by-side with F-150 Raptor, Ram and classic pickup

Wow, nice renderings so far! I'm really a fan of the black and stainless. One thing the computer doesn't get quite right is the color of the stainless. I absolutely love how my DeLorean seems to change its looks slightly depending on the lighting conditions. I could post some pictures of the...

Hummer EV Pickup Teaser Video. Cybertruck rival?

We will hear more of the Hummer EV in February with the Super Bowl ad and the reveal on the 20th. Perhaps we can move this thread to "Cybertruck vs" as we continue the discussion?
