Tesla FSD and Electronics Are 6 Years Ahead of Competitors Says Model 3 Teardown Report

I think that was describing the plaid drivetrain, but he did also say that the cybertruck has features we don't know about yet.

Are you replacing an ICE truck with your Cybertruck purchase?

I'm replacing 2, my 2013 F350 Super duty diesel work truck and my 2005 Chevy 2500HD. The loan will cost less than I spend in gas on those behemoths.

    Financing Cybertruck

Sort of, just like with other cars they use a third party financing and insurance group that they are a preferred customer of. They get a slightly better rate on both due to their agreement. I kind of doubt that they will be allowing leasing of the cybertruck since they didn't with the 3 and...

Elon Musk wasn't sure anybody would buy the Cybertruck. That turned out well :)

I've always been a big sci-fi guy, so I'm glad I'll finally have a daily driver that looks the part. My big white work trucks are practical, but I'm excited for driving an IRL apc from cyberpunk games and movies.

    Tone down the accolades

I was fully anticipating sentry mode capturing anyone trying to re-create the reveal window breaking.

Look how good Cybertruck looks with blacked-out bed top

I wonder if that basically what the solar wings will look like.

Elon Musk wasn't sure anybody would buy the Cybertruck. That turned out well :)

I drive upwards of 35000 miles a year in my work truck, I've already had to replace two windshields due to cracks from debris and I can't wait to have the peace of mind knowing that I have that tough of glass in front it me.

Elon Musk wasn't sure anybody would buy the Cybertruck. That turned out well :)

I always think it's funny when people bring that up when any other truck window would have just shattered.

Musk on Cybertruck: It's better than people realize... they don’t have enough information to realize its awesomeness

I wonder if they're going to do it like a knife set, Get a giant sheet of steel and then cut out all of the parts for the vehicle. If so then they'd minimize drift in the cutting process.

Tesla patents steering wheel with touchscreens and haptic feedback

That was just the concept wheel and to my knowledge those aren't production legal. The model X and model 3 we're shown with the same wheels when they were revealed.

Tesla patents steering wheel with touchscreens and haptic feedback

You mean you don't like having a claymore mine pointed directly at your face?

Aesthetic or Performance. given a choice

I really don't, both because of price tag and lack of a proven track record. I'm really looking forward to my CT, hopefully my fleet of them for my business.

Aesthetic or Performance. given a choice

I'm a minimalist at heart with an appreciation for brutalism. I want to see function and performance always trump aesthetics in the design of my CT. Something that annoys me about modern trucks is how they all look like some 15 year old went crazy with a tonka model and enamel paints, then just...

Cybertruck confirmed specs / features list

I'm a dunce when it comes to tires. Is there anything in that profile that has a longer life with all weather finish instead of off-road? For my work I mostly drive pavement and occasionally need to go off-road, but I can also put up to 40k milles a year on my truck.

    Wrenching, Metric or SAE?

I'm not an owner, but all the mod kits come in metric keying. I assume the whole machine is metric.

What options or ideas would you like to see available for CT?

I thought of another thing I'd love, but I honestly doubt they wouldn't do or allow to be customized. I want a voice pack to make my truck sound like BT-7274 from Titanfall 2. Getting in the truck; "Welcome aboard, Pilot." Putting it in autopilot; "Protocol Three: protect the pilot." Exiting...

Three phase is needed for running the pumps and heating elements of my machines.

Musk on Cybertruck: It's better than people realize... they don’t have enough information to realize its awesomeness

It would be even faster to manufacture based on what I've seen. Just rack up the metal sheets and then let the machine do the rest.

What options or ideas would you like to see available for CT?

I repair food sanitation equipment. It's be nice to test it on my truck.

What options or ideas would you like to see available for CT?

For what I do, [email protected] would be plenty. I just got want to have to lug around an inverter and transformer.
