  2. Musk on Cybertruck: It's better than people realize... they don’t have enough information to realize its awesomeness

In same boat! Have a savings plan for down payment and improving credit at same time but it was a 2-year plan. Ha. I saw on the website Tesla increased the price of self-driving to $9,500 and reservation fee to $150 now.
  3. Musk on Cybertruck: It's better than people realize... they don’t have enough information to realize its awesomeness

or sooner since production is ramping up for Y early and part of the point of Cybertruck was to skip some production hurdles. I think safe guess is that the battery advances will increase range and thereby increase towing distance and more out there guess is Cyberboat.
  4. Musk on Cybertruck: It's better than people realize... they don’t have enough information to realize its awesomeness

I vote Cyberboat. (or ranges were towing ranges with new battery tech.)

  9. Musk confirms: HVAC in bed vault, probably bed access from second row, partial bio-defense mode

oh right that was maybe 1,500 lbs more then a f150. So Starship could carry 36 Cybertrucks if it weighs around 3 tons.
  10. Musk confirms: HVAC in bed vault, probably bed access from second row, partial bio-defense mode

Starship COULD lift 146 Cybertrucks with a lift capacity of 220,000 pounds. How many would fit in the cargo space? Not sure
  11. Musk confirms: HVAC in bed vault, probably bed access from second row, partial bio-defense mode

I guess as long as there is a slight positive pressure it would still work although maybe that's why he said partially? That feature would have been great here in N. CA during our large and smoky fires. Think Tesla engineers are talented and can figure out how to make these features work...
  12. Musk confirms: HVAC in bed vault, probably bed access from second row, partial bio-defense mode

Can pull a large camper in addition. But enclosed camping mode option would be great for short trip, unexpected necessity.
  13. Musk confirms: HVAC in bed vault, probably bed access from second row, partial bio-defense mode

As the article said maybe he reversed his last two answers? "Partially" for pass-though and "Probably" for full Bio-defense?
  14. Musk confirms: HVAC in bed vault, probably bed access from second row, partial bio-defense mode

Yep, like other have said, Cybertruck is becoming more and more versatile. It can be anything you need. Large family SUV, Durable enclosed camper (Cyber-Glamping?), automated security patroller. .etc etc.. Elon is always welcome to comment! HA, or better yet an update with a feature walk around...
  15. Musk confirms: HVAC in bed vault, probably bed access from second row, partial bio-defense mode

Maybe the pass-through would just be below the sealed window? Seems might be the case because the back of the seats would be lower folded down then the window. To your point I do wonder how to keep debris out of the t-slots of the vault bed.
  16. Musk confirms: HVAC in bed vault, probably bed access from second row, partial bio-defense mode

This will be great if back seats can fold down with a big enough pass-through to have a custom mattress extend into the bed. You can have your body in the vault with your head in the cab area for heat, light and entertainment. Cybertruck getting better and better!
  17. Tesla Cybertruck GVWR Weight Will Exceed 8,500 lbs and be Classified as Medium-Duty Pickup

Could someone who understands CA state regulation see if this may change rebate program? Looking over 2020 proposals i saw one spot that said medium duty trucks may be eligible for up to 10k rebate for 2020+? That would be great, see car class reduced to 2K state rebate. Could this be a reason...
  18. Folding Rear Seat Latch Spotted in Cybertruck?
