Leading up to the truck's public unveiling, MotorTrend went behind the scenes with the Tesla team, provided feedback, and watched the Cybertruck go from a life-size clay model to a (literally) bulletproof working prototype.

Instead of accepting you are wrong you assume you know better than OSHA?
You keep saying the reason for connecting neutral to the ground pin is to trick the car into thinking it is connected to dirt. This is not the reason. If the ground pin which is connected to the generator frame is also...
Under the following conditions, OSHA directs (29 CFR 1926.404(f)(3)(i)) that the frame of a portable generator need not be grounded (connected to earth) and that the frame may serve as the ground (in place of the earth)...
I was hoping you had a clue about electricity, specifically grounding. Obviously you don’t. If you did your answer might have had some meaning. Saying it’s unsafe because it’s unearthed would be like if you said it must be blue to be safe and I asked why and you replied because it isn’t blue.
I don’t have time for this foolishness.
Please explain exactly what is unsafe about using a portable generator without connecting it to the dirt.
Most plug in Hybrids are basically BEV’s with a generator. Explain how they do not require a ground rod in the dirt when the generator is running...
By tying (bonding) neutral to the generators ground, you are grounding it.
To ground doesn’t have to mean connecting to dirt.
There is no reason to connect a portable generator to a rod driven into the dirt. Check with your generator documentation for verification.
I feel like we’ve been...
I believe we are getting bogged down with semantics. When the weather person says the windchill is 30°F that number comes from a specific equation based on heat loss of exposed flesh. I believe it uses averages of body type, skin etc.
More generally, moving air across an object that is at a...
So, how far in the future do you think it will be until we can:
Go online, spec. and purchase a car.
Car delivers itself to your driveway via FSD.
Probably won't happen before I get my CT but maybe my next vehicle? 🤞
I have yet to drive a Tesla and I've been wondering how the "one pedal driving"experience" is in slippery conditions. With an ICE and automatic transmission, if I accelerate too quickly and break static friction and spin I just take my foot off the pedal and the tire and the road match speed...
The article talks about the filter and bio-defense mode in the Model Y China version.
Does the US version of the Model Y have the large HEPA filter?
Does the US version of the Model Y have Bio-defense mode?
Thanks Did’s!!!
I’ve been looking for a better explanation of the current synchronous Tesla motor. This video has the exact level of detail I was looking for.
I love Sandy, but I agree, that part of the video was very confusing. He didn’t come out and specifically call the motor a switched reluctance motor. In fact the next words were “we don’t know...” but then I realized the ”we don’t know” part seems to be part of the next sentence about the...
