  1. Battery Pack Teardown Photos Reveals Empty Spaces (Sandy Munro Live)

I am wondering if they could fit a double stack of 4680 cells in there, if they went to a different bottom lid that is 4 inches deeper. IT seems like the cells would fit int he structural pack that bolts to the truck, just fine. But the bottom lid/skid plate is not quite deep enough. Personally...
  2. Next Promo: Buy an inventory Model Y and get "Kinda Early Delivery" for a Cybertruck

I can definitely see them bumping the Cybertruck reservation discount for Model Y purchases. Maybe something like, any color, and interior, lifetime premium connectivity. Hopefully the next gen Y will be a departure from the # platform. Tesla really needs a mid priced 6 seat SUV. Currently the...
  3. Totaled Crashed Cybertruck in Tampa

I don't know who's fault it was, but this may prove a cautionary tale. Most people don't carry 100/300, and that is not even enough coverage to replace a new cybertruck, at todays retail prices, let alone the secondary market price. I guess this truck is a good candidate for uninsured/under insured.
  4. Limit of 1 Foundation Edition per Account?

I think odds are better than average, that non foundation trucks will be delivered this year. Probably as production run rate exceeds 50K per year. If they allow you to configure, do it, and then if they say you can't have a second foundation, ask them if they can leave the order active for a...
  5. Holy Sheet!!! Cybertruck ‘Golden Ticket’ just arrived in my inbox😁

I agree its a cash grab, by Tesla. But Tesla's primary goals are volume. Tesla knows there is a lot more cash in this thing, by ramping it as quickly as possible. They wont hold back production for margins. As supply chain and production processes are capable of higher volumes, they will produce...
  6. Sandy Munro takes Cybertruck delivery -- first in Michigan. Teardown coming!

He should definitely be on the phone with that insurnace company! He wants to keep one, and tear one down.
  7. [Update: NOT VALET] owner crashes Cybertruck at Beverly Hills Hotel 🤦🏻‍♂️

I’ll pay the $15k right now. It does have 10 powerwalls built in, and it’s virtually plug and play.
  8. Do you think CT prices will go up after FS?

Tesla has shown us how this works with other models. The best example is Model Y in 2021 and 2022. You could order performance and get it in 6 weeks, and you could order AWD and get it in 6 to 7 months. I think FS will continue to be offered even when non FS trucks are offered. But FS...
  9. First Cybertruck at Manhiem wholesale auction

I am guessing any consumer that Tesla sues, will probably blacklist themselves. I do not disagree with Tesla wanting to limit resellers, since it makes waiting customers so mad, and Tesla is in a lose lose situation here. But many people really hate this policy, and if they get taken to the...
  10. Pebble Flow EV trailer reservation placed

That would be awesome content. I hope they get back to you.
  11. Cybertruck Sold $599,999 !!!

I saw an article this morning that Toyota engineers are excited to get their hands on Cybertruck. Perhaps they, and other manufacturers are buying these. We know Tesla is not selling to them. Sandy said he would pay double. Though, if he bought one, we would probably know already. Hopefully he...
  12. New Rivian configurations, lower prices

I hope so, I’m all in TSLA. So I figure if an R1S is tempting me, it’s got to be very tempting to others. X is awesome, but it’s about $4,000 to expensive in the 7 seat configuration. I dive a Y P and love it. But it’s just too small in the 7 seat configuration. I tried to make that work, but I...
  13. New Rivian configurations, lower prices

Rivian's price point is nearing a very tempting range. When they fully adopt the NACS plug, I suspect X and 3rd row Y sales will drop to nothing.
  14. Got my Cybertruck delivery today. Maybe first non-employee delivery in Florida

Are you renting that thing? Where do we find the rental info? You can DM me if its not allowed to share publicly.
  15. Do you really want to rent out on Turo??

I'll bet when AWD is selling for $59K, a lot of people will regret not finding a way to recapture that $40K, when the opportunity was ripe. That $59K AWD will be a better truck than todays truck, as well. Its important to think about a purchase like this in one of 2 ways. Its a member of the...
  16. Used Cybertruck to power my house during power outage

I would strongly suggest against male to male, with this much power on tap. It could be really dangerous. instead, do something like this. Ideally with a transfer switch, but if you want to accept liability, and can trust yourself to throw the main breaker, that can be an option in a pinch as...
  17. Tesla's First Dud: State of Charge x Kyle Conner (Out of spec) talks Cybertruck vs. Lightning & Rivian R1T

But if they made a single motor, it would be very close to that, and be the “starting point”. I could see a scaled production, AWD Cybertruck starting at $69,900 in the reasonably near future. I think foundation series will drop off first half of this year. I wouldn’t be surprised to see run...
  18. Full Cybertruck review by Out of Spec Kyle: Service Mode, Wiper, Powertrain, & Much More

I cant speak directly for the original commentor, but I have a non Tesla charger installed in my garage, even though I currently own tow Tesla's, with a CT on order. My reason is because my utility offers off peak charging, but you must use their charger, and it is included in the monthly fee of...
