I don't know what to think really. So best to give my real input would be after the new S test drive to as close to the CT. Or even better a test drive in the CT. In either case may take some time..
That's what we do with my friends as well. I take old laptop batteries and turn them into power stations. Shattered solar panels and make them functional. Package the whole thing and send them with my other friends around they world. They do there part I do mine. I also teach others how they can...
I believe that Elon almost died in a motorcycle accident back in the day, and as long as he is on top in Tesla there will never be a Tesla Motorcycle. As he wants only safe vehicles for all, thus they made they Cyber Quad to go with the CT and not the Cyber Motorcycle.
I do agree that this new...
After reading this lovely thread I decided to re-review the unveil night footage. To see if I could see a ratio of the sails. But then I looked online for campers. And well... just like trailers.. There is no standard. Some of the Campers have an 9 in (that's what she said) depth of the part...
Hybrid or plug-in (hybrid). At that battery size it would be plug-in. But either way most legacy auto target 200 to 300 miles per trip. Like the Pacifica with its 16kw battery. If you want a larger 75 to 100kw plug-in that would be called a BEV as I don't think any auto would do that. Even Prius...
Thank you for edumecating me. Wiki stated that the GigaPress is manufactured by Idra Group from Italy. That's interesting... I can only assume the bigger one for CT would be coming from the same source.
Unfortunately all that comes from my home country are hackers and models.. lol
IDK about that. I thought they were already making them just not at the speed they wanted. But of recent with more and more new Semi sightings. And most recently expanding Fremont building instead of the tent.
I agree, the casting machine is not something you can just put together, use it a few...
Yes it should, plus it *should* wash and and dry quick due to the design. Caution!!! Ensure bed cover is up before going it, otherwise you will leave with a free swimming pool.
I believe earlier the Engineering was complete. But I assume that internal or exerted none structural changes may still have been changed. I'm sure since the Engineering was done that also ment which machines were ordered for bigger/structural stuff.
I have no clue just thinking out loud, and...
Can't wait to see Munro's tear down of the new S. To see if they made a structural pack for new S using the 18650 size with the 2170 chemistry. That may give us a bit more of a clear picture on what's next..
Possibly like the S Plad+
There were pictures floating around that showed 2 in rear and one in front.
What type of motors I don't know. I know currently the 3 (IPM-SynRM) more efficient is in the front. And the S (Induction) performance motor is in the rear.
At least the CT would not catch fire like the Lordstown truck.. lol
From what I can see the Tri is still not ready, but the dual can do it. But is has much less range. I'm sure Tesla would not make a one off Dual with Long Range (500+), as then lots of people would want that...
Of all those trucks how many are as large as the CT? Although there are bigger trucks of the same one they usually are the smaller version. Besides the price of a smaller vs a bigger. It's easier to use a smaller when going to customers location. I could see many companies experiment with a few...
So I am hearing landscaping and snow. Snow I'm sure would definitely need a Dual version. Landscaping would not need 4x4 but need lots to tow the dirt away so that may be a Tri motor. Others were logistics so this are Van's not trucks.
Please let me know if I'm missing anything on why a company...
Anyone else notice the screen and Yoke size ratios? Looked like the Yoke is bigger than the screen. Personally I think the S and X need a minimum of 17in screen and the CT minimum of 21in.. dreams...
