Saw the movie about 6 months ago and even then I thought, yeah thats what is happening now.
  2. Realistic % of Cybertrucks that have had QC issues?

"all the negativity we are constantly bombarded with from the loudest voices trying to reign in all the positive vibes!" yep there is a lot of negativity driving the Tesla stock and Tesla sales. The question is this: Are the negative comments organic or manufactured by paid individuals. ...
  3. Realistic % of Cybertrucks that have had QC issues?

"I can barely drive an ICE vehicle now." ain't that the truth. I don't have a CT yet, just the Y. today I had to take my truck and gassed it up while I was out. $50 for 3/4 a tank just seems like a lot of $$
  4. Driving different vehicle after driving cybertruck

It's a pain in the ass to drive a gasoline powered car now. What? you mean I have to set here with my foot on the brake.
  5. Driving different vehicle after driving cybertruck

I get almost the same thing when transitioning from my model Y to my Honda Ridgerunner, which is a pretty good truck it self, (all the truck you need). These particular post should go on one those Facebook posts criticizing the cybertruck, calling it "That UGLY Thing" and much more crude...
  6. Is Foundation series tires limited to the All Weathers?

Meadowshade: since you put on the michelins how is the road noise? Particularly on concrete pavement where the longitudinal grooves are. It's been my experience on my last three cars the whine was annoying. asphalt blacktop is very quiet. Perhaps there is better sound insulation in the...
  7. Cold Feet and ICE

you are really going to love it when autopilot gets downloaded. autopilot is my favorite feature. just pay attention, watch the road, and stay alert!
  8. Sadly the FUD is winning.

It is amazing people (friends) would rather believe the lying media than their friend that has nearly three years of personal experience driving the car. And they are friends that know all about fake news. So I had my car just today remind me to plug in that I had less than 38% remaining...
  9. Sadly the FUD is winning.

the yeah I remember hearing from friends that I better get recall taken care of. It was the recall making the text larger.
  10. Sadly the FUD is winning.

yeah I had a friend tell me Teslas were sinful, until I told him that it was my Tesla parked outside when he came in the restaurant. In fact the whole dinner table was hating on EV's. They saw my Tesla parked outside. It's interesting that no one wanted my opinion of it. Also these are the...
  11. Cyberbeast rear motors not in use when cruising on highway. Helps range?

charge time may be a bigger hindrance for my bride. (in Texas we say bride if you been married longer than 40 or 50 yrs) But by the time we could actually order and take delivery of a cybertruck all chargers will be 350 KW.
  12. Cybertruck cost analysis

Exactly! when listning out the reasons for cybertruck I only listed those tangibles that people could understand. But fully, the biggest part of my enthusiasm is the engineering in this truck.
  13. Cyberbeast rear motors not in use when cruising on highway. Helps range?

Just saw a teardown video on the cyberbeast 3 motor version. it was revealed that the two rear induction motors are not in use when just driving down the highway which only requires about 20 HP. I'm wondering how much this helps in range? My purpose for wanting the cybertruck over my model Y is...
  14. Cybertruck cost analysis

I Agree! Additionally my Y saves about a thousand dollars a year in savings in gasoline costs over the Lexus we had before. wonder what savings the cybertruck would obtain for the average big ass pickup.
  15. Cybertruck cost analysis

Looking at the US inflation calculator a $70,000 item in 2019 would cost $85,000 but that would not include the FSD which at the time was $7,000, now its $12,000. so, 85K + 12K = 97K which is not far off from FS price of 100K so I don't see what people are complaining about. I understand that...
  16. Is Foundation series tires limited to the All Weathers?

yeah, you've answered my question about the tires. probably should be another topic but, looking at the US inflation calculator a $70,000 item in 2019 would cost $85,000 but that would not include the FSD which at the time was $7,000, now its $12,000. so, 85K + 12K = 97K which is not far off...
  17. hot summer sun and heat from massive windshield?

Thanks, If all of ya'll cybertruck drivers do not think it's any more of a problem than other Teslas then I'm good. I have a rule: dont buy anything that will give you a "Daily Irritant". (especially for a $100,000 expenditure.) In my 1st couple of Tesla test drives the wind noise was so bad...
  18. hot summer sun and heat from massive windshield?

My concern is that the massive windshield will tend to substantially heat the cabin requiring a higher blower setting thereby increasing the cabin noise. (difficulty hearing wife) Has anyone experienced that yet?
