FSD coming by end of this month (confirms Tesla Cybertruck engineer)! 🤞

I forgot to mention, I also asked about why there wasn’t a middle front seat like the prototype, and he said it’s because of the big screen and airbag deployment. But I mentioned my Silverado has a large middle screen and a middle seat, but he didn’t have an answer for that (different team)...

That’s fair. I’m enjoying driving this more than anything I’ve ever driven. However, I’m excited to BE driven soon!

FSD coming by end of this month (confirms Tesla Cybertruck engineer)! 🤞

Exactly lol. I mean, what would I have to gain by just making this up out of thin air? What would be the point?

FSD coming by end of this month (confirms Tesla Cybertruck engineer)! 🤞

He was at church today. I’m friends with his girlfriend and she knows I have a CT so brought him over to introduce him.

FSD coming by end of this month (confirms Tesla Cybertruck engineer)! 🤞

Ran into a Tesla engineer today who’s specific to the CT team. He mentioned that FSD should be coming by the end of this month! And that some staff trucks are already testing with it. I know Elon also mentioned “sometime in June” but we know how he is with timelines. Hope it’s true! I’m ready...

    Bad PPF Install

Good on you for having the patience to DIY! Looks awesome. I don't think I have the patience, nor willingness, to allocate that kind of time on a project. So I guess I'm going to have to hire my way out of it lol. I've got an installer willing to do STEK PPF in Satin Black for $4,400, so sounds...

Model X vs Cybertruck Driving Experience

Firstly, huge congrats on your sobriety! And that’s crazy that a Porsche feels like a dated driving experience now. The CT sure has taken a leap forward!

Model X vs Cybertruck Driving Experience

Not that I’ve noticed on neither the X nor CT.

Model X vs Cybertruck Driving Experience

Exactly. And that yoke on the X I’ve been driving is gigantic! Like way too wide. Driving it in a parking lot is just incredibly annoying. I literally left it on FSD as much as I possibly could. I WANTED to like the yoke because, well, Knight Rider. But it just doesn’t work. At least not...

Model X vs Cybertruck Driving Experience

My CT had to go to the shop to repair scuffs on the dash that existed when I took delivery. The good folks at Tesla Upland, CA were kind enough to lend us a Model X. I have driven other Teslas prior to getting my CT, including having test driven a Model X. But never with the yoke. In my humble...

I’m RN# 11323XXX My place in line is 495,744. How is this possible? Is everyone cancelling?

That is crazy. At this point it’s just insane that they’re still calling it “Limited Edition.” Congrats though!!!

Lots of CTs in Upland, CA

Same. Dropped off mine and couldn’t believe how many are ready for delivery! Very exciting to see how quickly they’re cranking them out now. Now if they’ll just end the Foundation Series so ours will maintain SOME sort of specialness. 🤦‍♂️

    Protectaclear by Everbrite Worked Amazing!

Nice to hear, given all the back and forth about this product lately. I’m hesitant, but ordered it and think I’ll give it a go this weekend.

    Color Covers Update!

Very interested in seeing how this comes out. Gonna need a hot pink iridescent option for my wife, matte black for me, and matte navy blue for when I’m driving it on official company business for our company.

PVC edge protector as protection against skin slice / cut from sharp stainless steel (i.e. wrist cut injury)

Having already watched one of my kids poke herself really good on the tailgate, I’m sure I’ll be doing something like this in the future, regardless of how it looks. It should have the added benefit of helping keep the wrap on and from fraying at the edges.
