    Fiery deaths?

Well it certainly worked. Look at the thread starter. And the stock price.

What is this in the CyberTruck bed?

I seem to remember those being discussed a year ago or so. We decided they were more of those elusive t-slots if I remember correctly. :ROFLMAO:

Elon Musk suggests Cybertruck is not happening this year

I think people are reading a lot into omission. I also don't think this is news... Did anyone really think their CT would be made this year? I think the big question is how far into 2022 will it be before production begins?

If you're trying to convince me to make the stretch for a tri-motor it's working.

Rumor: Tesla working with 3M to custom wrap Cybertruck from the factory

Only "needs" I can see: a business or you have lots of CTs in your area and you want to be able to find yours in the crowd or you really hate the look of SS. None of those apply to me. But I really look forward to seeing how everyone else wraps theirs. I would bet Tesla will charge over $5k...

The Cyber will be the most expensive thing I have ever bought INCLUDING my house.

It's hard for me to relate to this topic. Tiny homes are pushing $400k around here now. Yes, I'm talking about those little houses made out of non-house stuff. Growing up my dad dug in his heels and said he would never pay more for a car than he did for his house. He paid $21k for his house...

Rumor: Tesla working with 3M to custom wrap Cybertruck from the factory

I doubt they will ever be building 10k a week at one factory. And I doubt most people will want a wrap. I, for one, don't. And I assume Tesla will charge a premium price for their wrap. If you do want a wrap, you will probably be able to get it for much much less if you shop around for a...

Elon: Cybertruck will not have door handles!

Model Y/3 already work via your phone, they have no key. As johnm says, Tesla gives you a key card. It's the size of a credit card. I carry it with me but have never really needed it.

But instead of Japanese flags you need to have little gas pump stickers

Anyone else shake their head when the other manufactures talk about tech?

I just bought a 2021 Prius Prime for work (hey sorry my CT isn’t ready yet.) The car is loaded with all sorts of tech: adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, Apple CarPlay, loads of energy saving systems, etc. But it all feels so clunky. Non-intuitive. The closest description I can think of...

Mustang Mach-E Real World Range (Big problem)

This has everything to do with how it’s been driven. Especially before it’s purchased. A lot of people (transport people, dealer employees, customers) are getting in those cars for a few miles and driving it like they stole it. Most of them have probably never driven an EV before. Every new...

Tesla is recruiting people to work on the $25k car in China. Franz doing his thing with the CT sitting behind him, looking iconic as usual.

CyberLandr Camper / Overlander Concept for Cybertruck

This product is not for me. I just came to say that the CT in these renders looks beautiful. I generally like the CT in spite of its looks, but it looks great here. Must be the shininess.

Maybe Single motor is all you need?

I can push back on a few of these points. 1: Yes, if you drive on the freeway and/or in cold weather your range will take a hit. But it's not guaranteed that you will be driving on the freeway or in cold weather. My daily commute is 30 miles round trip and I barely sniff 55 mph. Ideal EV...
